VJ Chino : Oh your video Automatic is currently at #3 here in MYX chart.. Any message
for your fans voting for your video?
Bill : That sounds really really great. so we wanna say “Thank You”. We’re
really excited about that and we have to see our fans very soon..
VJ Chino: Who came up with the concept of the video of automatic where you guys have like a big robot?
Bill : We shot the video in South Africa. We had the idea that we wanna have robots because we’re not really good actors.
VJ Chino: Alright. So let’s backtrack a bit. So, what was the story behind the name “Tokio Hotel”?
Bill : We travel the world and sleep in hotels. We play concerts everywhere so that’s
why we chose “Hotel”.
Tom : And “Tokio” just because of the town. We wanted a town that we don’t know.
VJ Chino : Did you guys expect to be this big internationally, not just in Germany?
Bill : we never expected that we’ll have the chance to get successful in Germany. And then we became successful in some other countries. It was really unexpected.
VJ Chino : Alright, so which bands or artist do you guys look up to? Like your favorite band?
Bill : I think there’s not one band because we are all really different when it comes to our music taste. My favorite bands at the moment are the Stereophonics and Kings of Leon.
VJ Chino : And for bill, how does it feel like a lot of people are copying your style?
Bill : It’s also kind of a compliment when other people try to copy your style. It has to be good so thank you for that.
VJ Chino : And lastly what’s your message for your Filipino fans especially the members of the Tokio Hotel Official Philippine Fan Club?
Bill: We wanna say “Thank You” for your support so far. It’s really unexpected that we have fans over there. It’s really cool to hear that and we’re so grateful. We wanna come out there definitely. Maybe in the beginning of the next year. We’ll come out there and have the chance to meet our fans.

OMG. This is sooo golden.
I watch Myx as soon as i get home from school every weekday just to see what number Automatic is.
now it’s NUMBER ONE in Myx!
But hell when i saw this video i’m like, poker face. Like everyone knows the answer to each question (except bout the robot thingy). But Chino is so lucky izn’t he? :DD
though i’m not that happy that they’ll visit Manila already coz i don’t have enuf time to earn for tickets LOL. and i’m only 13 so i’m not sure if my ‘rents would let me see TH here in PH. :(
but i hope they tour here like, every year, :D

Omg thats great im filipino and i watch myx a lot and yeah the variety of music videos they have are mostly asian and theres a bunch of american bands too but hearing that tokio hotel made #3 on their charts is just the best thing ever. And please dont get mad at VJs questions i know we are all tired of hearing them over and over and you could definitely tell that bill and tom are tired of answering them but the philippines can be behind on some stuff cuz they really dont get that much attention and they’re just one of those countries that lacks…stuff. So just cut VJ some slack and at least give him credit for caring, right?

it IS kinda unexpected (but totally doable) that they are making so much progress in what they are doing…. it’s like they were a small town band almost some 9-10 years back and now people from ALMOST ALL OVER THE WORLD know them!! it’s like they’re exploding in all directions!! (not expanding, EXPLODING mind you)

well considering this is their first interview in a certain country.. It’s obvious they’re gonna ask THAT question! This interview sounds like a TH 101 stuff… and the side effects are good! LOL I have been seeing Filipino people quite curious about them and asking stuff about them on youtube soo it’s a WOOOT! XDD

hey u guys, i’m totally with u that it is so annoying that they have to answer the same questions over and over again, especially the one about how they came up with their band name, but most people in the Philippines probably don’t know who they even are (except for their fans, of course :p) so it’s almost like they are just starting over there like they did here in 08 and those boring questions are super important so people can know about them. I think each country deserves a fair chance in interviewing TH so that people will know about them.

If I were from Tokio Hotel manager, I would have a list of questions w the answers, questions that have been asked a billion times to them and tell the interviewers to read them and not ask those questions ever again. Cuz If it were me I would be sooooo sick of answering the same questions, but anyway……

i feel good cause i finally stood up for Tokio Hotel on a site where everyone was bashing them…it was an article about how they don’t like Miley Cyrus….here is what i said:
“my word all this fuss over one article…people calm down..
i like tokio hotel and i don’t see how they are jealous of the jonas brothers since the jonas brothers wanted to tour with them in the first place..(not a lie, look it up) and Tom was talking about INNER beauty…he could care less for dating a 16 year old with apparent “beauty…
and tokio hotel is far more popular than you think, you’re just not willing to accept it….
oh and p.s. the boys aren’t about to go back to Germany..so i guess you haters are going to have to suck it up and cry yourselves to sleep with your miley pilow….^^

I don’t think there’s enough days in the year for the band to get to all the cities that have fan bases. It’s great, though, for them to try to fit in the Phillippines. They really treat their fans well.
