The Associated Press reports that the international famed boy band have started to create a frenzied teen buzz here in the States. Recently having completed a successful U.S. promotional tour in support of their first American CD release, Scream, the band hopes to replicate their worldwide popularity and music sales which currently totals over two million.

Being the first German band to enter the U.S. Billboard charts in over 20 years, the band’s public awareness can be mostly attributed to the Internet, where, for example, they are currently the top searched music band signed to a label on YouTube. Besides having over 100,000 videos on the Internet, the band also features weekly filmed updates on the Web, are visually diverse in appearance, and are all under the age of 20.

Having formed in 2001, with over seven years in the music business, Tokio Hotel have now set their sites and hopes on becoming successful in America.

After the unbelievable succes of the 483 europa tour were not only the nice fan-mails coming at tokio hotel. Also a lot of sad fans didn’t got the chance to see tokio hotel, because a lot of the concerthalls were sold out until the last place. It was clear for Bill, Tom, Gustav & Georg: It can’t stay this way, we need to make new shows for our fans! The four directly talked with their team about planning a new european tour! There aren’t many dates known already, but here is already something we can say for you: The guys will come in march & the beginning of april and of course their homestation will be: Germany! After they made the end of 2nd part of the 483 european tour in essen, the german fans can count on a big concert in germany! When and where we’ll try to let known as soon as possible. 8 teens hurt after gate collapses at rock concert
Glass gate shatters at entrance to Tokio Hotel rock concert; 3 teenage girls evacuated to hospital

Several teenagers were lightly wounded Saturday after a glass gate collapsed at the entrance to a rock concert at the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center (Ganei Hata’arucha).

Magen David Adom paramedics treated the injured on the spot. The concert went on as planned.

The incident occurred at about 6:30 pm during a concert of German rock band Tokio Hotel, when one of the front gates shattered, injuring teens who were waiting to get inside.

MDA reported that eight teens between the ages of 14-16 were wounded, and three girls were evacuated to the Sourasky Medical Center for further treatment.

Tokio Hotel decided to perform in Israel following a massive petition of their local fans to bring them to the country, signed by more than 2,500 enthused youths. The Israeli embassy in Germany relayed the petition to the band.

Rumours: Promoday in Germany?
We have already informed you, that Tokio Hotel are finally again in German TV. But now we have heard, that the band will still this week have a complete promoday with German press! So there will be soon a lot of news about the boys, hopefully they reveal more about the new LIVE DVD or the LIVE album! The Tokio Hotel autumn/fall can come!

In Europe Tokio Hotel are the most popular and successful, international rock bands! In the meantime “Durch den Monsun”, went on a trip to Jerusalem! “Monsoon” is the hit on radio stations in Israel, number 1 on the charts list on one of the biggest stations in Israel! The German rock band has become a real star in Israel – that has never happen before! ROSH E´HAD” is the biggest and the most important Music- and Trend magazine for teenagers in Israel, which has for the first time mentioned about the German rock band, and even put them o the title site of the magazine! They also decided to walk through streets of Jerusalem, and look for Tokio Hotel fans! This has mobilized all fans, and they decided to write a petition, which contained 5.000 subscriptions, where one sentence has been repeating: “Please, come to Israel and play a concert for us!” It wasn’t just talking, but it was an official battle! The Embassy of Israel has informed the four boys from Magdeburg, about this action, and the band was really touched, after receiving many fan posts from their fans in Israel! The assistant of the Ambassador of Israel told us that fans can be calm: “…you can count on a Tokio Hotel concert in our country!”.

In Europa sind TokioHotel bereits eine erfolgreiche und gefeierte, internationale Rockband. Doch mittlerweile hat sich “Durch den Monsun” auch auf die Reise nach Jerusalem gemacht! “Monsoon” der israelische Radiohit, die Nummer 1 in den Airplaycharts großer israelischer Sender! Eine deutsche Rockband sind Stars in Israel – das war noch nie da! “ROSH E´HAD” das größte und wichtigste, junge Musik- und Trendmagazin Israels nimmt zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte eine deutsche Rockband auf den Titel und in der Straßen Jerusalems finden große Fantreffen statt. Die israelischen Fans sind mobilisiert und haben der Band eine Petition mit weit über 5.000 Unterschriften zukommen lassen, sie fordern “Kommt bitte nach Israel und spielt ein Konzert für uns!”.  Jedoch geschah dies nicht irgendwie- sondern sie haben den ganz offiziellen Weg gewählt. Die Israelische Botschaft selbst hat die vier Magdeburger über den Fanaufruf informiert und die Band ist sehr gerührt über die vielen Fanbriefe. Eine Sprecherin der Israelischen Botschaft teilte TokioHotel jetzt mit, dass sich die Israelichen Jugendlichen “…aufs Innigste einen Auftritt der Band Tokio Hotel in unserem Land herbeisehnen”!
