Each of the concerts on the Humanoid City Tour schedule have been linked back to the discussion thread on the forum. Hope that helps!
Once again, an apology
March 6, 2010
I just got a note that some people are feeling like we have not given enough attention to some of the concerts. Please accept my apologies. My dog had another emergency this week and had to have surgery and that has kind of tilted my life upside down. I promise to catch up. I PROMISE.
:hugs:
My vet used neon purple stitches on my dog. I would show you a picture, but it is her butt and you might not want to see poodle butt. Heehee.
Comments in other languages
February 24, 2010
Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know that sometimes we will moderate out comments that are posted in other languages. We really do not have time to try to translate them all to make sure they are not porn or spam or haters. Sometimes I can tell they are just love notes, i.e., ICH LIEBE BILL KAULITZ, VEN A PERÚ, and we let those go, but other times, they are really long and like I said, we just do not have time to check them to make sure they are okay.
So, it’s really best if you are able to please post in English. Please do not be offended if your comments posted in other languages do not appear. It’s for the safety of the site more than anything.
*hugs*
Blue for Humanoid
February 21, 2010
You may notice a new color scheme. We decided to go blue for the Humanoid City Tour to match the cover of Tokio Hotel’s Humanoid. Hope you enjoy it and all the news we are able to bring for the next couple months… Luxembourg to Paris, we will be there every step of the tour!

Sorry for the vacation from POTD. Lucky for the THA team, we have a lot of our staff who is able to go to some of the concerts in Europe and they are busy with their plans for that. So, we must forgive them for taking some time off from fanclub work to find the perfect pair of platform shoes. You know, the ones that will make them tall enough to catch Gustav’s eye, and still not break their legs?
:giggle:
Back as soon as we can with that.
In case you did not know, the staff at THA is not only from USA, but from Sweden, Croatia, Portugal and that strange land called “Los Angeles”.
Warning. Mad Catchup.
January 22, 2010
Will be posting lots of news to catch up on the last days. Sorry it is a little late, we are super busy and real life is happening too. :D
(on the other hand, I know you guys never mind a large overdose of Tokio Hotel so… I think we are all good)
Site Stuff – Catching Up
October 21, 2009
So, I was without internet for 24 hours thanks to some guys with a big tractor doing stuff in the street killing all the internet in the area. In the meantime, about A TON of news has come out, and I am pedaling as fast as I can to get all the updates here. Whew!
And may I just say, I am officially a candidate for internet rehab. I cannot live without it.

Site stuff: Apology
September 20, 2009
To all, we apologize for the hiccups and downtime and slow news updates the last few days. We had to make some upgrades in order to handle the traffic from all the Tokio Hotel fans, and hopefully, things are smoothing out. And dudes, the traffic has more than doubled. People want Tokio Hotel! *shivers with excitement*
We are so excited to see all the new faces and proud and honored to represent this band. Now, back to our business of making sure that Tokio Hotel gets a top 10 song and album in the USA!
Fake Official Fanclubs
September 7, 2009
I have not wanted to take this step, but I feel I have no other choice. There are fanclubs out there claiming they are an Official Tokio Hotel fanclub, chosen by management.
They are calling themselves Official. They are NOT official, they are NOT chosen by Tokio Hotel management, they have no authority to be producing and selling merchandise with the name Official Tokio Hotel anything, nor contacting companies and saying they are official and receiving things for promotion and certainly not to be using the Tokio Hotel logo for revenue generation under the “We are Official”.
Again, I am sorry to take this step, but we are spending too much time each week dealing with this issue and so, I hope by posting this publicly, it will answer all your questions going forward.
Here is a list of the Official Tokio Hotel fanclubs. I believe that is 100% up to date.

Don’t worry USA
September 3, 2009
Drama, drama, drama. Pffft. We are getting a lot of questions because some other sites are saying you need to order from other countries to get the German versions and how hard and confusing it is going to be to get the CDs in the USA, etc.
Let me just say this about that.

It’s just silly. We cannot even comprehend why someone would say that you will not be able to get Tokio Hotel in the USA or why they are creating this false panic. Don’t believe them.
Universal/Interscope/Cherrytree are working on our products as we speak. You have time to make your buying decisions. Even if something special gets offered in Europe, like the Automatisch single, you still have time to get it.
Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. If someone is pushing you super hard to get you to buy things through links on their site, it’s probably because they are generating money if you do. Not because there is going to be some mass confusion at getting CDs in the USA.
:/

Yeah, the routine boring administrative talk. There are a few people who have generated nearly 800 comments in about a week because they are using the comment section as a chat room. Yes, we get complaints about it because people want to read comments about the news, not two people chatting back and forth with each other for HUNDREDS of comments. That’s a bit excessive. So if you are on perma-moderation, now you know why. Please download AIM or MSN for your private chats or go to Cherrytree Records, they have a chat room. Or join the fanclub and use private message.

Just wanted to say that due to some major time crunches, if your comments are in another language than English and they get caught in our spam filter, they are not being approved because we just do not have time to translate them to make sure they are not something about buying used printer cartridges from horse thieves who lives in boats in the Atlantic Ocean and burn Barbies. Or other creepers.
Also, PLEASE stop leaving your email addresses in comments? No one sees them except us, we are not the band and when we catch them? We just delete the comments because it’s just not safe to throw your info out there.
There will be some upcoming maintenance, so don’t be upset. You will like the things that are happening.

Site Stuff. Wow.

Hacked: Okay, as some of you may have noticed, our forum was hacked over the weekend. We feel so special now, like a really important famous place. It took about 20 hours or so to get it back… aiiieeeeeeeee. But all is well, for now. Not saying it will never happen again. We are not the first TH site to be hacked, probably not the last. Thanks to all the good thoughts and support during the down time.
H&M Shirts
To those who are trying to paste your eBay auctions in comments, they will not be approved. We will not support you trying to make money off other fans by auctioning a charity shirt off and making a profit from it. So, you can stop spamming with them now.
Redesign
Working on some changes for the fanclub, if you experience any downtime, just now that we are working on groovy new things for you.
