What should I say – I am so overwhelmed! Your sympathy, your many gifts and encouraging words have made these last few days easier. Naturally I was afraid before the operation, with the anesthesia and everything. But Tom was with me the whole time, which was a real help. I had barely woken up from the anesthesia when I had my friends and family and our team write, that I was awake and of course wanted you to know that I was fine. The doctors said the operation went as planned and we will know more when the ten day vow of silence is over. You can’t imagine how hard it is to be silent. No more laughing for me!
