Durch den Monsun video was shoot in July 2005 at the Lange See in Leuenberg near Berlin. It was first released on August 15, 2005 as content of Tokio Hotel’s first single Durch den Monsun.

Two Years Ago already?

Two years ago, Tokio Hotel played live in front of half a million people. It was incredible. Their performance was… gah, I lack adjectives. Stupendous, chilling, powerful, amazing, terrific… magnifique, extraordinaire, incroyable, parfait, wunderbar, erstaunliche, unglaubliche, perfekt, maravilloso, increíble, perfecto!! Enjoy the memory! Happy Bastille Day!!

Oh gosh, so excited to see this video come up for karaoke… either language is great. Do you have any stories to share of your first time seeing this video? I just sat there in shock at how beautiful it was and what a fantastic job Bill did playing both parts.

Ah yes, one year ago, Bill Kaulitz was having a private party before Tokio Hotel’s sold out show in Geneva. Kicking out the bodyguard, telling Tom he should dance, telling us we will like asparagus when we grow up… but the best part was when he danced with a fan.

Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz on friends: “…those are the real friends then…They understand it when I haven’t got time to call them back for 2 weeks. We’ve just got so many thing in our heads at the time that we really easily forget such things. For example, I forgot the birthdays of my parents and some of my friends, but this really makes a friend a friend. You know they weren’t angry at me because of that. Since they know the way I am and that I didn’t do that on purpose. I actually would have forgotten my birthday if the fans hadn’t reminded me!”
As wundertwins pointed out… this must mean he forgets Tom’s birthday too.
