Best Band Category: is at 37.2% right now. It’s pretty obvious Tokio Hotel wins. Yes, Spin.com combined the “TH” and “th” votes together after the email petitions from TH fans. Wonder when are they going to publish the result in magazine. Tokio Hotel needs to see this. It would be a good B-Day present for them. Haha…shoot that’s tomorrow. If you go to spinmagazine.com the bottom of the home page it says contact us and click on it. You can send an e-mail to the editor or spin staff. I e-mailed them recently about this. But maybe if enough people e-mail them they will fix it.

Yes, we can leave comments at Spin.com for the “tokio hotel” being considered as different band. It should be considered as the same band as “Tokio Hotel”. So guys please capitalize your “T” and “H”. Go vote! It’s a tight race between “TH” and “GD” I think that’s the only way we can do co’s there seems to be no button to click to message the staff there.

OMG!!! I barely noticed The spin 25 readers poll does have Tokio Hotel as two different bands. If you don’t capatilize the T and H. Can someone comment frequently on the spin 25 readers poll comments about this so people will know. I would do it myself, but my computer doen’t let me leave comments on spin.:(

I just visited Spin.com and noticed that TH is winning but people who voted for TH and didn’t capitalized the “T” and the “H” is put in another group as a different band, although it’s the same band (Tokio Hotel). So I am going to exactly copy it here what someone reminded to all TH fans in Spin.com.

were all being ridiculous, and i was trying to say this to, that we should all get along, stop spamming, and my point is everyone has an opinion, music taste, and different personalities, so don’t be all hot headed because one or the other band is winning, and definetly don’t spam, becuase it won’t get you anywhere. I also came here to support Tokio Hotel, but i totally agree that green Day is an awesome band to. Who says we can’t like both bands? :)Both bands have won many awards, came out with great albums and songs that we can relate to, i know this sounds kinda cheesy but, is’nt that what music is all about, not for fighting or judging, but mainly for entertainment, its nothing to fight about, so everyone cool ur jets and get ALONG :)

People! We need to VOTE! Now more than ever! I have been noticing that Green Day is gaining on us. We need to vote until our fingers fall off so that they will win. This is not just about wining a contest, if Tokio Hotel wins, then anyone who reads Spin will read about them, which will increase fanfare, which means that there is more of a demand for them in America. And you know what that means? It means there is a higher likelihood that they will come perform in the states. So, please VOTE! :)

It’s very sad and childish that Green Day would stoop to bashing Tokio Hotel. When i first became a Tokio Hotel fan (2 years ago this month), I remember several interviews in which Bill named Green Day as one of his favorite bands. I had never paid much attention to Green Day or any of their songs before, but because of Bill I decided to check them out. To my amazement they weren’t half bad. However i AM NOT pleased with their put downs and I’d pick Tokio Hotel over them ANY day!! Too bad Green Day doesn’t have enough talent or class to give Tokio Hotel the same admirationo and respect.

I absolutely hate how the Green Day fans are dissing TH. It’s just sad to see them fight like that; can’t they just grow up? They should learn to accept that Tokio Hotel is considered a wonderful band by most, and not write thousands of words talking trash about them, just beacuse they’re winning best band at the moment.
Both Green Day and TH are amazing bands, let’s face it. We Tokio Hotel fans obviously want our favourite to win and the Green Day fans want Green Day to win. Music is supposed to teach us about accepting differences and moving on in life…seriously, what is wrong with these people?!

The CAPTCHA is just four letters with lines and stuff through them. If you can figure out the letters, that is all you have to enter. Ignore the part where it says to enter two words; and whatever you do, DO NOT put any spaces in between the letters. I hope this helps. :)

I hate it when I see comments saying because they’re leading in more categories than Tokio Hotel, Green Day is OBVIOUSLY the better band whether they win “Best Band” or not. Most of the Green Day voters are just bitter, because TH are leading in “Best Band”. If TH didn’t win in the other categories they are nominated for, that does not mean they don’t deserve “Best Band”. It also doesn’t make sense to me how people are calling TH a gay band, when the guy in Green Day is bisexual. They’re insulting him by insulting Tokio Hotel. Smart… Really smart… I really want TH to win in this poll. They have to try harder to prove themselves than the other artists that are in the poll, because people don’t take them as seriously. Eventually, TH will gain the respect that they deserve from people that have always doubted them. It takes little polls like this to get there, and they will get there.

It’s only the younger fans that are voting. I think that most of them are pretty nice its just the small minority of the voters that think its cool to bash other bands. Stupid fans like them make everyone look bad. I like Green Day but Tokio Hotel is my favorite band =)
Hopefully the immature fans will stop soon. Oh well.

how do you clear your Cookies?

Hi Lupe. It depends on your browser. But if Safari, you:
1. Open Preferences
2. Click Security
3. Click “Show Cookies”
4. Click “Remove All”
That will remove every cookie. I do this because I only use Safari to vote. If you only want to remove the Spin one, then you need to highlight it in the box and then hit “Remove.” The cool thing about Safari is, you can keep this box open to the side, instead of opening it each time. :)
For Firefox, you need to:
1. Go to Tools
2. Click Clear Recent History
3. Check “Cookies” (I only check cookies and have everything else unchecked, *nods*)
4. Hit Clear Now
Then you can vote anew. I’m not totally sure about Internet Explorer, but I’m certain it’s similar. Like under your search history, somewhere your cookies button will appear.
I do what Schnee says above too. Each time, I scroll to the bottom and click “submit” to get a fresh captcha and then I vote. Get results page. Clear cookies. And repeat. It totally works. And even if you don’t see a change in the total, no worries. So long as you clear your cookies and re-enter, your vote will count.
