Thanks to Vnlasteamer for poking us to let us know this is happening! Golly, wish I could be there, such a beautiful part of the USA up there! Anyway, here are the details from the organizers:

August 10th:
We’re going to meet in downtown Seattle outside the building that houses most of Seattle’s major radio stations. We will be wearing TH gear, bringing signs and posters, playing Humanoid (particularly Dark Side of the Sun) on a boombox, and buying and bringing extra copies of Humanoid, the Darkside of the Sun single if it’s released physically, the live album, and the live DVD to give away to random people and hopefully some radio people / DJs.
The idea is to attract the attention of a DJ, maybe get the fanaction covered on a station blog, and most importantly, to ask the station(s) to play Darkside of the Sun.
We would love to get as many NW fans as possible in on this action. The bigger the action, the better the chance we will impress them into doing something.
Let’s shake up Seattle!!

Ugh, I know what you mean. I live 45 minutes away from Seattle and originally the parents said they could take me but then they decided today that it was a waste of time and gas :P!! I was sooo mad and disappointed. They just don’t understand :( !

Omg! This is a really exciting idea!!! I live about an hour away from Seattle, but I don’t know if I will be able to attend the event or not. I’m going to try my best though!

YEAH!!!!!! Finally fans taking some action on getting Tokio Hotel played on the radio!!! I wish I could be there. I think every city with Tokio Hotel fans should do this and get them on every radio station!!!! I have tried here in my home town calling my radio station and requesting them, with no luck. They won’t play them. I wonder what the real reason is? Good luck guys, I will be with you in SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!! :D

Hey everyone I kinda of have a great idea so here it is:I all the major cities(Like, Chicago, LA,New Orleans,New York, ect)We should have a meeting or party w.e so all of us get to have funn like everyone else.Schnee?Do you think we could set up something like that?I think that would be very good for all us fans who cant go to any of te meeting cause we liv very far away.
But. anyway, Thats aweomse that they are gonna ave a meeting but I wouldnt try to force them to play it.

i wish i could go… what every one should also do is call all of their local radio stations(an up to date…no folky stations) and request Tokio Hotel, not just tokio hotel make sure to mention a song. Get all of your friends into it and call form a different phone every hour or so. get guys and girls just girls will not help. and make sure to act as if they are bigger than justin beiber( we know they are but here other people don’t and we need to get them coverage) Request old and new songs. always beg for them to play the songs do this for a month or so and the radio stations will be forced to buy the music and play it. hence providing tokio hotel with coverage new fans and since more people will listen more concerts for us to go to!!!!!!
if you like this post this plan ( and do it) to all of your pages…like facebook (and all the tokio hotel groups your in haha) and myspace, twitter, random Tokio Hotel vids on youtube. anywhere where TH fans will see it!!!!!!!
Sorry, but calling and trying to trick radio stations by calling from different phones, pretending you listen when you don’t, having people from Brazil contact them, etc., to get them to play songs just pisses off the DJs to the point that if they hear the name Tokio Hotel, they scream and yell and hate them before they even give them a chance.

So is it a bad or good thing? The dj shouldnt just play what he likes, he should play the music the public likes so people would listen to their radio station. I think this fan meeting is a great idea! ;-)

Radio stations like KIIS FM take music suggestions … they give you a number before breaks for you to call in for song requests. :) i was listening to them today..but didn’t have my cell. :( here’s the number for anyone that wants to request songs :D 1 (800) 520-1027 hope this helps. :3
