I hope this doesn’t like a stupid question…but what does it mean when a band goes platinum or gold or whatever?? I never really understood that.

It means they sold a certain number of albums. It varies from country to country what is required to go gold, platinum and some countries even have silver.

Notice that Bill is leaning on one side. If he stood up straight, he would be taller. Also, he has a slim build so it makes him look smaller too compared to the rest of the men.
