Tokio Hotel to rock Malaysia
POPULAR German pop rock outfit Tokio Hotel is set to play a Malaysian concert date in May. The band is part of the “Everyone Connect With Tokio Hotel” concert, sponsored by national telco TM, at Central Park Avenue, 1 Utama, Selangor on May 1.
It is the band’s first foray to South East Asia. Formed in 2001, in a town called Magdeburg in Germany, Tokio Hotel’s global reputation has been enhanced by recent chart success and tours in the United States after dominating the European music channels for more than two years now with striking video clips and charged-up pop punk tunes.

this sucks!! i actually work for this company, but still this sucks!! how would you expect thousands of ppl to show up to TH concert when you hv to subcribe broadband package worth RM160 p/month for 12 months to get the “free” passes?!! that said from a diehard fan like me!

hmm…n no wonder i saw a telco tv ad (i dunno if its tm or not) with a family doin stuff suddenly a snippet of tokio hotel’s automatic played in the background altho it doesnt fit the scene of the ad….then it says at the bottom “courtesy of…” i guess they’re pushing hard to get malaysians to go crazy with th!btw, i was crushed to hear paramore was performing in singapore but then then alas the love of my life instead are coming!ICH LIEBE DICH TH!!

If this true,us malaysian must be lucky yay! most band that sponsor by local telco to perform at the 1st time usually coming back with the ‘real tour concert’ because by then a lot of people already know them.so i hope this concert will give a lot exposure to TH.

I believe the concert is open to all since it’s located at Central Park Avenue. However, there will be exclusive passes available (perhaps to meet the boys in person? I don’t know) but so far it hasn’t been announced yet. So stay alert!!
I gotta start harassing the employers of TMnet/Streamyx office here so they can give me answers XD
