Tokio Hotel watched “The Book of Eli” in Volksdorf: Bill Kaulitz, his twin brother Tom as well as Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing – and nobody noticed it! (translation thank you to loveth-music!!!)
Volksdorf – Also Superstars are longing for a normal life from time to time, and want to go into Restaurants or cinemas without being noticed. It isn’t any different when it comes to Tokio Hotel. But everywhere they appear it’s over with the silence. Screaming and hysteric, mostly female, Teenagers besieged the venues days before their concerts. And now all those Fans have to read exclusively in a newspaper that their idols were guests in Volksdorf a week ago, on Saturday (February 27 – A day before the concert at the Color Line Arena). At the ‘KoralleKino’ the pop-heroes watched the apocalyptic Thriller “The Book of Eli” with Denzel Washington at 11.15 p.m. The special thing about this: Nobody noticed them…
Their arrival was top secret, in a rather insignificant car, shortly after 11 p.m, the security closing off the ground in front of the Lichtspielhaus after them being in the cinema. Peter Jansen was responsible for not letting any information of their arrival public this night. “I was committed to absolute confidentiality”, the cinema tenant, who permitted the late-night performance of the movie for Tokio Hotel, said. The quartett, lead by the “Diva” Bill Kaulitz, arrived with their Manager and their Marketing Women and disappeared into the huge movie theater.
But before it got dark in the screening room, the superstars ordered some Cola Light and Popcorn. “The boys were very nice and they thanked me.”, said Hans-Peter Jansen whose 18-year old daughter Lea had a lot of luck to watch the movie side by side with Bill and Co. “She’s not really into their music, but she was kind of paralyzed and had to tell her friends of her unbelieveable adventure on the same night”, said Jansen. A lot of girls would have loved to be in her place that night…!

Then just go back to casually sit near them.lol. I’m glad they got some kinda normal time, what with all the touoring right now. I luv u Bill<3

Well, I’m really happy that Tokio Hotel got time to go to the movie and not be seen by anybody…like anybody famous person would like. Man, I wish I was her right now.
When they come to the Untied States they can do whatever they want without being attack by fans because not a lot of fans know about them <3

They got to go to a normal movie theatre (even if there was no reg. patrons), how wonderful for them! They don’t get very many ‘everyday’ moments anymore! And what a great guy the manager was to keep it hush-hush for them. I’m so happy for the guys!

It is possible to do things normally without being bothered. Living in NYC, I see celebrities shopping in stores, riding in elevators, catching a cab ride, etc. sometimes and nobody bothers them. Usually they are not dressed up or have makeup on like they are normally in photos in magazines.

The problem with TH is fandom. A lot of immature fans are in this fandom. And I agree that celebrities are pretty undisturbed in NYC, but if twins will get there, some of their fans will follow them everywhere just like fans in Europe. It’s not the city is the problems it’s fans. They all need to get into their head to respect boys times off and give them space.

Yeah I agree, I’ll live in NYC also and paparazzi aren’t a big deal here. For some reason, celebs are’t as disturbed here as they are in other places.

I understand that girls are excited when they see Tokio Hotel, but why do they have to scream and get all hyped up like that? I mean, yea they all look good and their music is amazing, but their just people who would like some quiet at times. If I ever got to meet them, I’d probably just stand their smiling like an idiot lol

If I were ever to meet them personaly I would act this way (and we all know that will never happen) but other than that when you meet them at a signing or at the airport and especially at a concert they have said many times that they love and enjoy the screaming. Plus I dont think I could hold in all my energy and excitment, it would just come out as a scream.

lol….yea i’d probably stand there smiling like a dork as well…lol…try to make small talk…and end up saying something really stupid and embarassing….lol…..or say something in german and butcher it really bad….i just think they’d be a cool group of guys to hang out with….obviously…lol….and yea all the screaming is just obnoxious…but then again…i’m almost 20 myself…..i’ve grown out of that phase….lol…

I’d just probably stare at them, smile… and drool a little!
I’m glad for the boys, I hope that from now on they can do things like this.

yay for a moment of normalcy!! ok somewhat normalcy….. I’m going to college in the state of Montana…(funny i know) and i can definitely say that they could run around the whole state unnoticed…..so yea…they should come to montana….even though i don’t know why they would want to….but the mountains are pretty….lol….but they could definitely go to movies and out to eat without people bothering them….except everyone would wonder what some people who look like and dress like tokio hotel are doing in montana….lol…..i’m sure they prefer the city scene…hell, i do too….but its a nice change of pace for something different…..lol….but ANYway….i’m happy they got some peace for a change =D

They can watch movies in any state in America at any time of the day ( mabye sans Cali and NY) and no one would care. Mabye whenever they come Bill can finally get that effing icecream hes always talking about lol. But its good to hear they got to be semi- normal in Europe.

That’s really cool. I’m glad they got to go see a movie and just kinda chill out and be normal for a bit. Sure it wasn’t a TOTALLY normal situation; they were the only ones there for a late night screening. But it’s still a relatively ‘normal’ thing for them to be able to go and do and it’s great that no one knew about it so they weren’t besieged by fans and stuff. :-)
