Yes! I’ve been trying to do this on my own for the past few weeks, and this just made my life so much easier.
I’m really happy that they take so much time to create almost a completely new version of each song. I have to say my least favorite translation is Human Connect to Human…the lyrics of Menschen Suchen Menschen are so whimsical and romantic, and then we get to the English version, and it’s really just about sex. I’m not sure whether or not to take offense to that…do they think Americans would rather hear about sex than finding true love? Either that or Bill got to fulfill his alternative meaning for that song…;)

i don’t understand the complaining- we get TWO languages… it’s probably true that the english lyrics will never be quite as deep as the german, because it is their 2nd language, but they’re still deep! and i actually like how some songs are about totally different things in each language- it was their intention for it not to be a one-to-one translation this time.

I mean they write these beuatiful, deep songs, and then turn it into sex and lesbians? Or I dont know…its just why cant we have these beautiful lyrics in english? They sound amazing….yet its like they wrote a completely different album for the english album…
It would have been amazing if the words were the same…theyre much deeper than the english Humanoid…

I’ve looked at the German-to-English translation of all the songs, actually, and the Humanoid songs are actually the closest in similarity. You get songs like Komm (Noise), Hey Du (Hey You), and Lass Uns Laufen (World Behind My Wall) and they’re almost completely different songs from each other.
