Tokio Hotel – Person of the Year

ZDF – Leute Heute has chosen Tokio Hotel as their Person (people) of the Year for 2009! This is really cool, eh? What a nice surprise for a snowy Saturday. The following translation is by Herzblut. Please credit when used. The translators in the fandom are amazing.
Plain top is Tokio Hotel. Even if their year was very turbulent in every way. There were namely a couple of contentions with fans, drummer Gustav even got attacked with a beer bottle. The other band members also had their problems with too intrusive fans. Anyway they had sensational successes, even got aplenty international prizes and are our best music export and for this reason they deserved the first place of the “People of the Year”.
Bill: That sounds great, really. That’s a compliment. “People of the year” is absolutely not bad.
Then in 2010 anything can go awry.
