I personally believe this was a live performance. Why would they have microphones hanging on the amplifiers if not to get the sound out to the rest of the studio? Isn’t the reason for playback in these type of shows because of the poor sound system? And besides when Bill has that Humanoid mic it’s just logical that it has to be live. I’m agreeing with all the vampire references about Bill.
He looks so perfect like a statue. It would be awesome if he did wear that outfit in a video.

I’m the Gitarrenagrarökonom (The Guitar Farmer)and this is my video. This is “playback”. They played the song two times because the stagelight was out of order while playing “World behind my wall” the first time. But the boys were very friendly and played the song one more time for us. This is No. 2. I’ve got No. 1 at home but the quality is very bad.

Have you been around long? 99% of television programs in Europe are lip sync’d. Did you know that? It includes all performers. So no hating on Tokio Hotel for just doing what is DONE there.

Yeah I noticed about tom’s cornrows more than a few times before: does he keep getting them rebraided? because now they look like they go straight back, and in the humanoid photoshoot they looked like that too, but in between, they looked like they swirled from one side of this forehead to the back in a curve…I thought I was crazy for seeing two different kinds of braids but maybe I’m not! lol

Bill looks great, i like the outfit he is wearing alot, and the sneakers. As for the makeup, both of them look funny. Tom is orange tan and Bill is ashy white. Did Nathalie do the makeup? I hope not.

Whoa, so Im defnitely NOT into the whole “Bill’s a vampire” in fics and stuff, and Ill admit I don’t really like the photoshopped pics fans do of him w/ red eyes.. etc etc, but the 7th pic… :O Looks like he just walked offset of a twilight movie, and I must say, he looks sexy :D But if he does do a movie, I think he would be eye make-up-less, just to fit in… what do you think??
P.s. LOVE LOVE LOVE the sneakers :D :D He needs to keep those (not a fan of the boots on him, I want those for myself :P)

Yay! I like that Bill is back to performing with sneakers. His boots are awesome, of course, but the one thing I always noticed was that no matter what shoes he wore at apearances, he always wore sneakers when he performed. He hasn’t done that lately, and I was starting to miss it, but now it’s back!
And I laughed for like 10 whole seconds after 3:25, when the band is like, all in to the music, all focused, concentrated, you’re watching, totally taken in by it, and then the floating camera comes in. I don’t know why that was funny, but I found it hysterical.

I kinda like the boots with his 2009 outfits. The sneakers go better with his old jeans, T-shirt and jacket look. Also, I believe he performed live (not playback) in boots in Greece and at the EMA’s. Can’t wait to see the D2 outfits for the tour. D2 is on a new show on Bravo called Launch My Line. Foreshadowing Bill’s future clothing line?????

I never noticed how much WORK Tom has to do during a performance! Play a few notes, work that pedal with his foot. O.K., now play another note, another pedal with his foot…wow, most guys are terrible at multi-tasking!
