Emmla’s EMA Story

This is so amazing. Emmla from Sweden was able to attend the EMA and this is her story. I LOVE this video because it shows the excitement and feeling and you can hear just how AMAZING they sounded and the chaos when the pyro started, oh I just love it! And so happy for Emmla!

When the show started with the Green Day performance I could not understand that I was actually seeing them. And then Beyonce, she was so fierce! Her performance was one of the best one that night.
And then the show went on with things that I hardly remember haha.
….and then Tokio Hotel came with World behind my wall. I can not with words descirbe how it felt to see TH live. So Im posting this video. It says more than any of my written words. You can hardly see anything, you can barely hear Bill sing, but you can hear mine and Saras reaction as well as a whole arena fangirling ^^
The seconds before we found out wheter or not Th had won ther category, I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest. And when they won I just screamed, and jumped up and down, and clapped my hands. I even shaked hands with some fellow fans in my block, an italian couple to my right and a french old-fan girl who sat in the row in front of us. She had the coolest tshirt with pics from the Develish days!
After the show we took a taxi to hard Rock Café for an afterparty where we were on the guestlist among with other ticket-winners. But it was actually not much fun there, not much people at all. But that suited us well, we had a few drinks and sat down talking about what we had just been through. Trying to understand that we had actually just seen Tokio Hotel live för the first time.
I don’t now if I understand it yet.
It was the best night of my life.

GAHH! omgee your sooo lucky emmla!! :O i could just feel the excitement and everything from your awesome video taping ^.^ they really put their heart and soul into everything they do eh? wow thats crazy i would’ve loved to have seen that performance!!

Aw how wonderful! What a cool story. Dude, seeing Green Day live was AMAZING and if I was there to see them again, I’d be happy…but then to see Shakira come out after them would be like a dream, AND THEN! to see TOKIO HOTEL come out…
now…that would be a night. I’d probably cry from joy.
When I get a chance to see Tokio Hotel I’m totally gonna go all out in clothing like the woman mentioned in this story. THfan exstravaganza!

omg tat wuz ur first tokio hotel seeing live!! mine wuz so amazing @the Roseland ballroom last year i remember everything me n my sis pushd tons of people out of the way just to get to the runway 2 c them closer… ur vid totally reminds me of the crappy pis me n my sis took @ the concert… im so pumpd 4 the humanoid city tour

Yup sounds like me when I was watching the live stream but you can feel the energy that radiated. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know I wasn’t the only one enjoying the show. It’s like we are one big worldwide family. Tokio Hotel’s thank you video shows that they feel it too. They made it for fans exactly like Emmla as well as all of the rest of us.

Pyro is the fire display they used at the end of their performance. It looked pretty “HOT” to me :-)

pyro is short for pyrotechnics which are the fire effects they use on the stage during the performance :)

I seriously hope that they come to the US for their Humanoid City tour, because if they do, my mom promised me that we will go on road trips during the school year to go see them.
This girl is TOO LUCKY! I wouldnt care WHAT seat I got, as long as I get to see Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav live in the flesh and blood and stuff. :D

Your video has reminded me of when I went to their concert in Barcelona in 2008… I was so excited… I couldn’t believe I was seeing them life…
I’m so proud of us… we did it again, as Bill said in the “thank you video”. Seeing their happy faces pays off
