Tokio Hotel Offer Some Tips For Dressing Like Them On Halloween
Bill Kaulitz says fans just need a Mohawk, some makeup and ‘a leather jacket.’

Halloween is almost upon us, and there are several celebrities out there who would be perfect inspirations for your Halloween costume. Sure, you can dress like Bella and Edward from “Twilight,” or you could even dress like Lady Gaga (more on that Friday). But how about teen-favorite rockers Tokio Hotel?
We caught up with TH’s Tom and Bill Kaulitz to get their ideas for stepping into their shoes Saturday night. Bill said he has an easy look to copy, despite his glam exterior. All you need is a Mohawk, some makeup and fingerless gloves. “I think that’s the easiest,” he said of fans trying to emulate his look, adding that they’ll also need “a leather jacket.”
His brother, Tom, had some advice for aspiring Bills, making his brother laugh as he jokingly suggested: “Makeup, ugly face, ugly smile.”
During an interview with the rockers last October, we surprised them with some Halloween candy after hearing that they were big fans of American sweets. “In Germany, we do not have Halloween, which is a shame. We do have some of this candy though,” Bill laughed at the time, surveying the mounds of sweets before him. “We have M&Ms, we have these things here — Ritter Sport — and these too, [Kinder Surprise Eggs]. … I’m not really into chocolate; I really love all the sour stuff. … I just like the surprises [in the Kinder].”

i’m dressing up as a glampire (glam vampire) this year. i have the best boots ever. they’re very adam lambert. they’re huge knee high black platform boots with 6 or 7 huge buckles on the sides. i’m a happy person :)

ya know I actually saw a perfect Bill mohawk wig at the costume store this week and for one hot second thought I would be him for halloween, but it was really expensive, and then I saw the perfect wig for Lady Gaga so I’m going to be her instead xD

OMFG! i did this last year! i was bill, my hair was black and my mom did it in the lion mane, and then i had zipper-ey pants, an amazing leather jacket, and rings, chains, a tshirt, suspenders, and the makeup. oh, and i did the nails and got a fake eyebrow ring. my bff was tom, she did fake dreadlocks, rlly baggy clothes, wristband, hat (ofcourse), and a fake lipring. my other bff was georg, and she dyed her hair brown and straightened it. then she wore perfectly washed out jeans with a metallica tshirt and adidas. we didnt have another person, so we took my dog, got him a little rocker puppy shirt, a hat, and then taped drumsticks to his back!!!! it was so amazing. you hav no idea :)

OMFFG! My friends and I did that last year too! Minus the dog; my brother was Gustav, and we braided my friends hair for dreads. I was Bill! I have the right hair (DDM era) so it worked really well!

Im going to be dressing up my brother as Bill this year.
And he agreed to it as well.
So I told my mom ahead of time, to leave his hair alone and to cut his sides on Halloween day.

I’m actually doing Automatic Bill for Halloween! It’s a little different since I couldn’t spend any money on it and used resources I had (for exaple: the fur on the jacket is both black and white on mine, the jacket isn’t leather, etc…) but I think it looks pretty good :D I also attempted to mohawk at a party and brushed back the sides…it actually looked pretty good ^^

ROFL @ Tom’s advice for aspiring Bills “Makeup, ugly face, ugly smile”. He basically just called HIMSELF ugly with an ugly smile (since they’re identical twins and all…)bahaha
I also think it sux that they don’t have halloween in Germany… The German exchange student who came to my school last year during mid October. When we told her we were having our annual Halloween party she got all excited, and went ALL OUT with the costumes/candy/spooky spirit etc and we were all like whoa! then she told us they don’t do this kind of stuff in Germany…

This is my first year at attempting his look. But I’m going to do the lion mane instead of the mohawk! :D (which is totally my favorite hair style of his, even though he looks gorgeous with all of them)
