Thursday night was a super exciting night for many fans who got to meet the band and it was an especially sweet night for ThinAir. For those who may not know, ThinAir built a guitar for Tom. ThinAir is still traveling so we have not heard directly from her about her experience, but from others who were there with her, it was very amazing.

That’s a really nice guitar. Hey does anyone know where I could get a TH computer background? I’ve been trying to find recent pix of them for my computer and I can’t seem to find any, not in the right picture size. If anyone knows where I can get some let me know please. Thank you. :)

Tom’s face is just like awe and in the first one, Georg looks a bit more excited than Tom does and Bill looks a little upset that he was left out ^^;

Bill wasn’t upset, I think he was just surprised and trying to hear what was going on. It was VERY loud in the store.

He asked if I made it and how long I’ve been making guitars. I told him this one is #6. I don’t have much experience at all. It was too loud and they were too busy to spend any more time on it than that.

wow, that’s such a sick gift. the craftsmanship is phenomenal. those are the best presents: ones that you really put your energy into. so thoughtful. i play the guitar and if i got a custom made guitar from any one i would be blown away. right on thinair.

He should play that during their acoustic sessions, just to show that it wasnt thrown in a room with all the other gifts from fans. That gift is one for books, most fans just give stuffed animals and stuff to grown men and this girl made a guitar, very awesome, and very unique.

my sis painted this anime version of them n brought it 2 the cd signing in nyc n bill said it wuz amazing n all of them signed it n my mom wanted it 2 b somewhere people can c it so now the painting i proudly hung in our kitchen to gaze at 4ever :)

That is craaazy!!! Major props to her! How old is she though, out of curiosity, b/c the girl in the pic looks really young, and if at that age she knows how to MAKE guitars, then i am a bit ashamed I can’t put something (anything) half as good together at 18 :P
