Yay! Subtitled videos of the Tokio Hotel appearance on Viva from October 2. We have 18 pages of discussion on this at the fanclub forum… it was an interesting appearance. I am not really sure if the host of the program was just being snarky or what? As always though, Tokio Hotel prevails with their sense of humor and wit.

Well there’s definitely no real love in her! I loved how our guys handled the situation though!! Tokio Hotel rocks. That stuck up hostess should feel PRIVELEDGED to be sitting among the ROCK N ROLL ROYALTY THAT IS TOKIO HOTEL!!!!

She put them in an awkward position alot…but lucky they know how to handle it.
Intervieweres are there to make their guests comfortable not uncomfortable.
That was a bad interview…one of the worst ever. but the dance of course was cute;)

such a bitch, does she have no manners? she goes right into “have you done something illegal?” and then “have you smoked pot?” then “how much did the video cost?” then “don’t you guys get tired of being in the background?” you dont ask people that kind of thing in a normal conversation never mind on tv. what a bitch,

i kind of hate the interviewer… she was so annoying and RUDE omg i wanted to slap her (that came out a little mean XD) i can’t believe she was talking to them like that! but seriously.. she should probably have some improvment before she tries to uhhh interview someone again, just a suggestion :P

lol no, they’re not breaking up. They’re just being their usual smarta$$ selves. They’ve said before that if any one of them ever left the band for whatever reason they would just stop the band all together, no replacement members or solo acts, that would simply be the end of Tokio Hotel.

I’ve seen an extended version of this interview, the host seems so clueless. Further on there’s a question and answer segment from the audience and they ask Gustav why he gained so much weight (yeah, it’s cringe worthy for sure). And of course who has the biggest ****? What a bunch of immature questions. lol

yeah I saw that too, the “length” question elicited some funny banter between the twins, but I couldn’t believe that she (or whoever) chose the question for Gustav about his weight, that was really not okay. I don’t know how he felt about that, but honestly that was a very rude question that only got through b/c someone must have reasoned “he’s a guy, he won’t care.” What if he did? Can you imagine how bad it would be to ask a female guest the same question? It just really bothered me b/c body image in today’s culture is a very serious issue, and it’s also personal to me. Ok sorry rant over.

I really can’t imagine any American host talking to them that way or for that matter letting those questions through either. I thought Gustav DID look really uncomfortable with the question, also. I mean really, what’s he supposed to say? :(
Sometimes political correctness is a really good thing. But the guys seem to take it all in stride and are obviously used to goofy interviews.
