the first time I heard this song is when I watched the live version on humanoid city live dvd (on youtube … because you can’t get anything about TH where I live; i think nobody knows about them, even) , and together with bill’s speech … I was just speechles. So amazing.

This song has that same epic lonely and sad vibe that Monsoon has. I love Bill’s poetry! It’s so dark and tragic but still holding on to the idea of true love. I love it. It just reminds me why I love this band so much.

What I like about Tokio Hotel, is that they write songs that are actually MEANINGFUL, such as going through problems like its a monsoon, life as its 1000 oceans, suicide and to NOT do it, and other stuffs, its like advice through song. Unlike the other bands and artists out there today that only talk about $3x and drugs. >.> while Tokio hotel on the other hand have saved LIVES. trust me. I know a few. :D
But yeahhhh, they are just the best and the album is gonna be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I’m really glad that you made the point about TH saving lives. I discovered them because of the song “Don’t Jump” which saved my life and helped me give up cutting. I told my brother once that if ever a friend of him plans of committing suicide by jumping atop, he should make him/her listen to this Tokio Hotel song called “Don’t Jump”. My brother hates whatever I like so I thought he’d just make fun of it. Yeah, he did kid about it, saying that he’d rather gladly let whoever friend kill him/herself. So I said, watch out your words, you might this song. But when he heard the song, haha he can’t just hate it. Now he’s addicted to the song and he is always nagging me of playing the song while I’m listening a different song (well, which usually is another TH song too, since it’s the only band I seriously listen to.)
Well, about this song, for what I know, Bill said that this is about a person finding hope in his life from a stranger. I really can’t imagine how could it happen.

I am from sweden and i register on Mediamarkt(.de) and bought it. So i have the whole album in my computer right now and is listen to it =). I bought the german deluxe version. And is gonna buy the english on itunes next week :).

I got my Oct. issue of Rolling Stone yesterday and whomever reviewed Humanoid only gave it 2 stars. Whatever. He/She said that Bill sounds strangely reduced? Huh? And, that the album is strangely low-key and melodically anemic and Bill’s mode is too SUBTLE???!!!! What? Did this person actually listen to this CD?
(I believe this same reviewer gave a 3 and 1/2 star rating to a Kris Kristofferson album, so yeah, consider the source.)
Oh well, on a positive note they listed the key tracks as “Hey You” and “World Behind My Wall.” Countdown to October 6th!!!!:)
