Tokio Hotel sets Habbo on Fire

September 26, 2009 by Schnee

The Habbo chats start today with chats for Habbo Italy and Habbo Germany! And Tokio Hotel is making the news for their Haboo popularity! Can’t wait to see what questions they will be answering!

Los Angeles, California (inquisitr Wire) – Fans in a frenzy: Tokio Hotel, the four-man rock band from Magdeburg, Germany, will fire up their fans on Sunday, September 27, starting at 2 p.m. (EDT)/11 a.m. (PDT), exclusively in Habbo, the world’s largest virtual world for teens. Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg will not only chat about their latest single, “Automatic,” in the world’s largest youth community, they will also answer questions about their lives as famous rock stars, their worldwide success and their private lives.

It is impossible to imagine today’s music world without Tokio Hotel. Just a year and a half after their discovery, the four-man band landed at the top of the German charts with their debut album, “Schrei” (“Scream”). Their climb up the ladder of success continues with powerful rock sounds worldwide: the world-famous band’s new album is called “Humanoid” (October 2), and the first single, “Automatisch” (“Automatic”), was released on September 18.

“We think it’s really cool to make a stop on our promotional tour in Habbo to get closer to our fans,” said Bill, the band’s frontman, about their appearance at Habbo.com.

Along with a 2005 Bambi Award in the National Pop category and the Echo Music Award for best newcomer (2006), Tokio Hotel also earned the 2008 MTV European Music Award for Best Headliner, as well as the Best New Artist Award at the American MTV Video Music Awards that same year.

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome Tokio Hotel again. In addition to the chat at habbo.com, the virtual tour continues; Tokio Hotel will be visiting Habbo communities in Italy, France and Spain,” said Teemu Huuhtanen, executive VP, Marketing and Business Development, Sulake Corporation and president, North America, Sulake Inc.

Currently, there are Habbo communities in 31 countries on six continents. To date, North America has more than three million unique monthly visitors. Over 90 percent of the users are between the ages of 12 and 18, with a relatively equal gender distribution (56 % boys, 44 % girls).

I hope they’ll be able to answer OUR questions cause I saw the interview for Habbo Italy and it sucked. They could only answer a few questions because people kept getting kicked out and the interview asked the same old questions. But I didn’t actually go because then I have to make an account for Italy.

I’m gonna try to wake up early tommmorow.

Oh and the time for Pacific Standard should be 11:00 am???
