Everything goes fast with teenagers: the clothes, fashions, friends, girlfriends. Without speaking of idols. In this season, will they have a little space on the walls of their room between two posters of “Twilight” or “High School Musical” for Tokio Hotel, the German group that had terrified a generation ephemeral ago Just two years.

Overflowing of Bercy, the fans who camped outside the rooms three days before the show, nearly one million records sold, products derived from T-shirt homework notebook, a renewed interest in German at the college . And then, nothing.
Until that announcement, a song sent to radio Friday morning: “Automatic”. Excuse me … “Automatisch” in two versions, the choice for English or speaking world. As will the forthcoming album October 5, “Humanoid,” which is written the same way in both languages.
Is a first sign of the ambitions of Tokio Hotel, who intends to capitalize on its success in 2007-2008 to go tickle the Anglo-Saxon. “Before they worked alone, said Guénaël Geay, global marketing manager of Polydor label french group. This time, they appealed to imperial sizes for composition, writing and sound. Indeed, one will find on this album names Guy Chambers, who works for Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, RedOne stake in the success of Lady Gaga, or Kara DioGuardi, who has hit the jackpot with Pink and Christina Aguilera .

“What weighs today the group is a mystery”

Beautiful guests on paper. But it is the public key will be invite to the party. “What weighs today the group is a mystery, admits Jean-Christophe Federici, editor of the monthly Star Club, leader of the youth press in France. Two years ago when they tried to cover with Tokio Hotel, they sold 110 000 of our 120 000 copies. Today, the mail for the group was divided by five. It is in a niche where the teen life of artists is generally limited to two years. Most of those who want to age with their target have broken teeth. Noted with Lorie. “Only Robbie Williams has bounced back by denying in part his boy band Take That of yesteryear. “And Justin Timberlake, added Guénaël Geay. He solo the same music with his band ‘N Sync but better product. The same approach Tokio Hotel with this new disc. ”
But some believe there already. We Productions, which organized the group’s concerts in France since the beginning, no longer works with Tokio Hotel, chastened by the failure of the concert at Parc des Princes in June 2008 with 25 000 people, representing just over half the stadium capacity. A scheduled date when the German blow was already beginning to fall. Currently, the group’s management relies on a new agent french for a future tour. “They already want to leave on several concerts at Bercy in 2010, when they weigh as hell one Zenith. It’s over. The kids are moved on, “says one producer. In “Star Club”, the focus is still on the group, out of loyalty. ‘It will cover our next issue September 15, said Jean-Christophe Federici. Then wait to see how the album will be upheld. “All is more” Automatisch “for Tokio Hotel.

OK forst of all even their 1 st album , when they were just kids , was so mature that i’m over 40 and still listen to Ich bin nicht ich, Monsoon, Rette mich , and many others. And Zimmer was even more mature even though they were not even adults yet.So to say that ”teenagers” will have moved on…well i dont believe so coz they all grew up…together…And then there are so many fans like me, older ones, who think they are just inbelievable…I predict as long a carreer to them as the Stones or Aerosmith if they want it ;-)))

I agree, they have a long career ahead of them! I am 29 and love their music. I have long awaited this new album and I am positive many others have as well. As for the teenagers moving on, well… we loyal fans are here to stay!

These young men have a great career ahead of them. They have talent, personality, good looks and style. I should know – I’m 62 and have been rockin’ since I was 10 and first saw Elvis. I’ve attended more concerts than most including the Beatles. My daughter (43) and my grandsons (13 & 15) are dying for them to tour the US. You can bet your sweet derriere WE will move heaven and earth to see them.

Okay, this article is confusing and long. A LITTLE space between the Twilight and High School Musical posters on your wall? Oh hell no! I Hate Both. Tokio Hotel Posters litter my freakin’ room, they deserve more than just a little space on MY wall.

Can someone post this article with the meaning a bit clearer? literal translation of other languages into english is not always the best, it almost seems from this article that they are less popular before their album even comes out 0_o

Parc des Princes was not a failure. The crowd was amazing and it was the best day of my life :) Even if it did cost £200….

The band is my favorite and they are very strong boys who are turning into men. They will keep doing their thing until they retire or bored of their work. And to Bill, he said he wants to keep writting music because that’s his favorite thing to do, so have faith in Tokio Hotel.. They are faithful to their fans so we should do the same for them :)

of course TH will survive not like other teen bands
simply because their music has grown up with them and they’re real musicians not only some products

      Totally
      their always maturing and changing
its not like a band you can get sick of
its impossible to be bored with them [:

      You said everything.
If Tokio Hotel was a band made buy someone and if the guys were dependent of a group of people to write their songs I will totally agree that one day they would disappear, as it happened with many boys band.
And this is the point, they’re not a boy band. They are a real band. They play their instruments, they write their own songs, and they have their unique style, nobody is dressing them or saying how they should behave.
