(translation by Pat) The Bayern Music-Lion goes to Tokio Hotel, among others! The State Secretary Dagmar Wöhrl announced this Friday in Berlin.
Wöhrl said, the Music-Lion will be presented even though the music gathering “Popkomm” was cancelled. We want to give out a message/sign to Europe to show them what the German music business has to offer. Besides the awards for the musicians ,one of the Porcelain Lions will go to youth magazine “Bravo” for “50 years of Newcomer Development” and to On3, the Bayerischen rundfunks for Newcomer Development Multimedia.
The award presentation of the «Bayerischen MusicLions 2009» will be on september 17 (20:00) in Berlin. The night will be presented by TV host Marco Schreyl.
(no word on whether Tokio Hotel will be there to accept)

Im so ashamed to ask this because I should know it…..How does the time work in Germany. I know it’s six hours ahead, but is it on military time? Hence the 20:00?

yes, it’s military time in germany and i think it’s like that in most, if not all, of europe because in my french class we learned to tell time from 1-24 because that’s how they do it in france too.

okay not to be i dont know…sounding like a know-it-all type of person xD its also called the 24 hour clock as well as military time so…yea…personally it confuses me and i always have to do some like mental math to figure out the time if its on a 24 hour clock xD
