I found the very first interview of Tokio Hotel on TRL (May 6, 2008) in a Russian website. I uploaded to my channel on YouTube (krisk2009). The only problem is that I had to convert the video from iflv to m4v and the converter put a watermark in the middle of the video :(
Anyways, you can tell how their English improved since those days!

i loved when they were on trl i had just discovred them that week and fell in love although i never got to see all of the episodes but i did get the last one on tape when they performed monsoon and i still have it

Not to be too nitpicky, but doesn’t this vid feature their 2ND time on TRL, not their debut? I believe their first time was in May 08, with Bill in his orange jacket, and it was also their first time on an english-speaking show withOUT a translator (the brave lads!)–I remember b/c they were so nervous and I was nervous for them!
*confused* I can’t find where it says that this was the first visit, so not sure why we need to make sure it says it is the second?
