I love Don’t Jump!
I definitely cried when I first watched the video.
I have a depressed friend and she has been very close to committing suicide many times. As a result, I always get really sentimental when I watch the video or even listen to the song.
But yeah, the video is sooo well done! Bill does such a great job! That would probably be really hard to do.

I don’t cry easily at things. Not exactly sure why. I can say that I played this song for a depressed friend who changed their mind about some things, suicide not included.
The first time I saw the English video, I wondered why the ending was different than that of the German one. I still thought it was…well, beautiful isn’t exactly the word I’m looking for, but I think my point is visible. o:

Heh…well…my story with Don’t Jump is pretty…maybe it’s common, maybe it’s not.
I really, really wanted to commit suicide last year. This song saved my life, and now Bill is like my hero. They all are, and it’s my goal in life to meet them at least for a minute, and thank them. Without them I wouldn’t be here.
So whether THEY give up, or sell out, or just stop caring about themselves or their carrer…or if they keep going strong for ten more years, I’ll always be behind them.
When I needed someone, Billi never gave up on me; I’m not ever giving up on them.

i got the idea of committin suicide, but i never realli thought i’d actualli do it.
wen i 1st saw the vid, i wuz just sittin there w/ tearz flowin down mi face @ the end of it. after that, i erased ALL thoughtz of killin miself no matter wut.

I remember Don’t Jump was one of the songs that I thought I wouldn’t like so I didn’t watch it right away. But after I fell in love with all of the other popular songs, I watched the video and I just stared at the screen, unable to move, it was unbelievable. I remember watching Spring Nicht afterwards and when Bill jumped I kept thinking, how can people just give up on life so quickly. I have a couple friends who are depressed and Im always afraid that they will try to end their life, and I just want to be like Bill and save them.

this was the first song that i saw by tokio hotel. and heard too. but it was the german version of this song. so i was all like who is this hot guy (meaning bill)? and then half a year later, i saw their clip on youtube and clicked on it, and was all like i think ive seen this before, and then happy happy happy. and you guys know what happened next….

To be honest, I’m on the verge of tears everytime I see this video. It’s really quite well done. But suicide is a sensitive topic so this video in particular is pretty hard-hitting. One of my favorite pieces by Tokio Hotel.

i absolutely adore this song. german and english. they’re kind of like my bad day songs in a way. they’re just so emotional. the music video is great too. if i’m ever a singer/in a band, i’m going to ask if my videos can be tokiohotelish. they honestly have the best music videos. even durch den monsun.

Well, all I remember is smiling like a doofus! I knew before I clicked the icon for the video that it was going to be totally tubular. Okay, here’s a story, but this isn’t related to my first time watching the vid. Last year, I was unable go to their concert in Atlanta, even though I am only about four and a half hours away. Cranky parents. ANYWAY…! I thought I’d have a little TH concert of my freakin’ own. The first video I watched at my little, private TH concert was “Don’t Jump”, of course. I thought that it would’ve made me feel better about the whole situation, but girl, when I say I cried, I mean eyes all foggy, nose drip, drip, dripping, tears flying everywhere, making my computer explode from all of the liquid exposure… Now, I can laugh about it. lol, but yeah. I’m a total drama, but with very durn good reason. Yep, mmhmmmm. B}
