Certain things make me want to have kids
I never really thought about having kids and right now it wouldn’t really fit in with the rest of my lifestyle anyway ;) I know I wouldn’t want a dad who’s 19 years old, barely spends a night at home and works with some weird guys. But seeing stuff like that gets me thinking…!

By the way, I told Gustav yesterday that you guys left him so many greetings in the comments. He was super happy about that and sends you guys „best wishes“ back. Everything will be OK – only the stiches seem to itch a little – so please don’t worry!

Movie’s I’ll Watch this Summer…

Halleluja!
Scary or celestial – not too sure about it. However, no doubt that there are A LOT of crosses. This mountain of crosses, which is named Kryžiu kalnas, is somewhere in Lithuania close to the village Šiauliai. It’s a place of pilgrimage and each visitor brings a cross to leave there. From the looks of it, there have already been quite some people. To me this seems like a wicked location for a video shoot….what do you think?

Georg will go nuts! I have to call him right now and deliver the news. Hagen will feel like it’s Christmas, Easter and his birthday all on the same day! His idol returns – David Hasselhoff aka Mitch Buchanon will be on Baywatch again….and this time he hits the big screen! Wow! All right, I have to dial 017656….

–Persuade Bill to proof read my blog entries for spelling errors.
–Meet up with our management to plan our first event at the end of August in Germany, where we’ll also perform songs for the first time after this long break.
–Set up an easy going bicycle tour in nature with Wolfgang & Hagen (I’ll drive my car beside them).

Don´t Move!
This vid is priceless :) and how awesome is the idea behind it?! I don’t even want to know how many nights these crazy programmers must have spent in front of their computers. I’m also wondering if there is one single real human in it. It’s a little sad but beautiful at the same time. The clip is by Stink Digital and director Adam Berg for a 21/9 TV.

They got BALLS (and chocolate)!
Balls and chocolate! :) oh, I almost forgot the skater. Did I already mention that Bill once wanted to become a professional kickboarder? I think so, but I can’t tell this story often enough. Had music not crossed his path then he would have shot this clip with his kickboard. Come on, you need to imagine this: instead of Bob Burnquist there would be my little brother Bill.

What movies am I going to watch this summer?
Why do I go to the movies during the summer? Well, German summers are quite often not what you’d like them to be. During the few next days I will post 10 movies that I’ll definitely watch this summer. How and where do I go to the movies?! Can’t tell you that, but we might sit side by side some day! ;)
Aside from that I’m a huge fan of old drive-in-cinemas. Unfortunately there are way too few left but the great thing about them is that you can do whatever you want in your car….as long as your windows are tinted ;-)

Some of you already received the news: we’ve been searching for new partners to manage our concerts and now our LIVE team is complete. „William Morris Endeavor Entertainment“ will book our concerts in the future and the guys from „The Production Office“ will turn our stage ideas into reality and make sure that everything at the venue (hopefully it’ll be in your city as well!) runs smoothly. We have so many ideas for the upcoming tour and are already talking to people from different venues! :)

Haha, it’s Gustav again (sorry, Klaus:). Not sure what it is… but somehow this reminds me of Gustav’s legendary dance at our VMA fanparty. Have to go now and start practicing the dance moves.

New Tokio Hotel TV Camera has arrived
We didn’t want our cameraman to drag around his super heavy cam from the Stone-Age anymore and so we just had to be nice to him for once and got him a newer, smaller version. Let’s see how the results turn out and most importantly what happens next on TH TV…;)

I hated my school
Just thinking about my old school building gives me the creeps. Absolutely horrible. Just so you know, Bill really enjoyed going to school and he was so thrilled every year when the summer holidays finally ended! ;)
Have a look at this school in Berlin and imagine you attend classes there. Had this been our building and if the teachers were a little more cool then I would have repeated grade 10 forever ;) [ok, not true at all]

This video of my favourite German rapper Samy Deluxe turned out really well. I think they should have included a Tokio Hotel concert in this miniature world, or even better: a Tom Kaulitz statue. I’ll need to talk to Samy about that :)

While I’m having breakfast you can already have a look at the first backstage pics from our covershoot. Can’t tell you too much yet ;) but we shot for 2 days till late at night and everyone had to do tons of overtime. All of this because Gustav and Georg took forever in make-up….as usual. Oh, and Georg had too many bananas and spent a lot of his time on the toilet…. Btw: The pic of me here beside the blog window is from the session.

I can’t wait to meet our new stage designer and finally develop some new LIVE ideas. That’s pretty much the most exciting part before the tour kick-off. Well, obviously aside from the challenge of having to teach Bill, Gustav and Georg all their lyrics and instruments on time :D… But until it’s show time I’ll keep on collecting some ideas. This stage for instance is just amazing!

NIKE is releasing a new line for their “Dunk Designs” in collaboration with NYLON Mag. In 1985, NIKE Dunks came out for the first time and back then they were only available as basketball shoes. Seriously, these shoes are classic and now NYLON is adding another model to the existing variety. It’s women only! Btw: I heard you can get them at Urban Outfitters and Nike.com.
