Is the “I” pronounced like the letter itself (“I” = “eye” = “Cowl-eye’tz”) or is it “i”, pronounced as in “it” (“i” = “it’s” = Cowl-it’s”)???!!!

the way you spelled it made it like gee-orgy i just say gee org. they george when speaking english because that’s the english version of the name. i always say call-itz and everytime i look at the name i think of how the “au” sound is “ow” and wonder why it’s pronounced call-itz. now it all makes sense.
