I don’t think everyone knew how to make the votes count, it had to be a lot higher than what it is. Hitting replay didn’t count the view and some other things people were trying. It really should have been a lot higher. But the comments section went crazy. It was a lot of fun, some people are going to keep going over the weekend. I talked to people from many countries, all TH fans coming together, and everyone was so nice. No bad talk or talk of the negative stuff.

Refreshing doesn’t seem to matter. Last night at 11:29 it was23,217 this morning at 10:35 it was 24,844 and isn’t moving but it will. I think it’s getting overloaded. We’re doing it!!!

Is this the only day we’re doing this? I thought you guys Twittered about May 17th or something, buying this song on iTunes (My theory is that we’re helping the boys pay their court and lawyers fees). I think it’d be neat if we could do something veryday to show our support, but there aren’t enough things out there.
I LOVE the idea of getting the fandom together to share in something like this to show our support to the boys. I feel ‘united’, lol

A helpful tip is pressing F5 on a PC. It refreshes the page for you. Just keep pressing F5. Oh, and no repetitive comments. Youtube has learned how to automatically mark those as spam, and your account might get deleted.

I haven’t ever paid attention to when youtube counts how many times I’ve viewed a video. So do we need to refresh the page when we have played the video in it’s entirety? Or will it count if we just rewatch it entirely?

I was doing some research and we may have an issue with views:
“When a user watches the video it adds to the video’s view
count…however, hitting the “replay” button doesn’t add to the view count of a video…”
This was from the YouTube site’s forum, posted by a YouTube individual. According to this then, just hitting the reply button (which is what I’ve done) will not register a new view.

AND, the counter does not update each time you watch the vid…it updates periodically. There’s no way for it to keep up if it updated each time someone watched …it wouldn’t be able to keep up.

it will count just by clicking onto the video link and like watchin 5 seconds of it.
you dont even need to watch the whole thing.
that way we can keep getting the count up!!
