The greatest form of flattery is imitation. Just the fact that she covered the song in itself is great. Of course no one will sing it better than our Bill or play it better than Tokio Hotel but that’s why we have to be open minded.

She doesnt really have the German accent down, But otherwise, she is a good singer.

i really like the way she sang the song.
she kinda added a little different perspective on it if ya know what i mean…
i think she did a really good on it!

i think its good, the only reason people would say it sucks is beacuse it went a little too fast, so it lost some of the meanong of the song and cuz of her accent. But i love this song so no matter what i think it sounds good, by th or not by th.

I don’t think it was the worst, but it definitely could use work. her voice does crack, and her voice just doesn’t fit the tone of the song. its a ballad, and her voice would suit a song more like… oh, I don’t know, Nach Dir Kommt Nichts. Rette Mich is a song that should be performed with a softer, gentler voice.

I really liked. She has a really nice voice. And her version of the song was really nice to. And I though of Evanesance too. She kinda sound like Amy Lee [ AL is better but stil ^^ ]
Anyway, I dont think it was bad at all :]

Grr this bugs me the girl is trying to hard and it sucks! I bet if i heard her before i heard tokio hotel i would think she was ok but i looooovvvvveeee tokio hotel and this is their songs, one of the only bands that shouldnt be covered, them and the beatles!

This is not bad, she does have talent, but when I first heard her I though Evanescence. She does break a few times, so she is in need of work, but she does have something there it just needs a little cleaning and polishing.

Although no version of the song could ever beat Tokio Hotel’s, I have to give credit where it’s due. I thought she did a wonderful job and she has a beautiful voice too. I think even the guys would agree.

I’m with you there! I was kind of surprised by all the hate going on in these responses. This reminds me why I stay in the forums. People are immature.
No, she’s not Tokio Hotel… yes, she has an accent… no, she doesn’t sound like Bill. But she does have a good singing voice, and towards the end of the vid, when she loosens up and starts just improvising with the high notes, I think the beauty of her voice really comes through. And I think the guys would be totally psyched to know that they are inspiring covers all over the world, so… I fail to see a negative here.

How did they just destroy that beautiful song..?She does have a good voice, but the guitar-play is ALL wrong..! Not even the right chords, and perhaps she should have rehersed her german a bit better to… The song is amazing, but this performance doesnt do it just…

Yeah, you’re right. The singer has a nice voice, but it would’ve sounded much better if they hadn’t improvised on guitar. It sounds too different without the guitar.
