Thanks to everyone for the emails and comments about Bill’s tattoo. Because the only thing Bill has said about it is that he is not ready to show it or share what it means, we have chosen to not make it into a news article until such time as he does talk about it himself.

I have been looking for a place to speak and not look like a dum ass,sorry.Im so curiou to see. so is my “band”. Im the singer,of course. My other band members say my bill. HELL NO. i could never compare to you.I was going to ask you to play inn MS. nothing ever happens down here. at the tip of the bottom in MS. I guess I respected Bill’s privacy cos I haven’t seen it!!!
It hears pretty cool. But I agree with all of you, why did he allow them to take a picture if he didn’t want it to show it? Famous people shouldn’t trust when you say somebody not to show something.
the tattoo location seems pretty “dangerous”!!!!

i heard bill’s new tatoo is under his star and his star is as we all know, low on his hip so if the tatoo is under it..he’ll have to be kinda naked to show it!!
but if it is for some other reason i’ll respect him cause i’m IN LOVE with him i mean seriously, i wish i had met him before he was famous so i could be with him and not have anybody think i’m with him because he is famous!

Its absolutly Stunning. But i am so sorry that happened.
If the person who did this concidered themself a fan, they shouldnt, a real fan would respect what Bill wanted and not have exploited it all over the internet.
If it were any of us, Im sure we would think first, “Would Bill want us to do this?”

I feel really bad it was released. I got SUPER annoyed at everyone when they all freaked out and were like “show us your tattoo!” when he didn’t want to and now it’s been released on the internet where the entire world will see it in like three days. I’m so sorry Bill =(

I totally agree with the privacy stand, but I don’t think we need to feel guilty for looking at the picture. Bill still has his privacy because the whole meaning and significance of his tattoo is still unknown to all of us. That is the whole reason why people get tattoos…because they are outward expressions of something important to them. As of now, Bill still has that secret. I think if he wants to share that with us he will, but on his own time of course. I actually have a prediction….I think the saying will have some significance to their new album. Maybe an album title? Or maybe just inspiration for writing? We’ll find out eventually.

I kind of don’t feel bad for LOOKING at it. I knew it’d leak at some point (yeah, I know. I’m a very positive thinker =P)
It was bound to happen if he told the tattoo artist he could take a picture of it.
Anyways, I personally think he doesn’t want to show us the tattoo because it’s NOT FINISHED.
I agree 100% on the whole privacy thing though. If Bill doesn’t want us to know right now, then well, there’s nothing we can do about it. Just sucks that it was leaked. -_-
Can’t wait until he talks about it though, I’m curious. XD

well, thanks for showing Bill respect. I wish I would have seen it from him officially instead of just a photo. I don’t think it was “leaked” I think he was naive to think we wouldn’t figure it out. just the words alone, like who else would it be?
I can’t wait til we can start talking about it though because I would LOVE to philosophize about his meaning behind it.
like how the meaning of “roots” or “origin” differs in Geman. like the context means something different in German.
I love Bill. he’s just to cool and amazing for words.
