Berliner Kurier chatted up David Jost about new album. Nothing really new, but David Jost says release date will be between January and March next year for German version and English one will follow a bit later. Translation by Jollyhime (Thank you!):

Tokio Hotel will be going back into the Studio
Screech! Nix with a vacation by the sea: after their U.S. tour Tokio Hotel dives into the studio in order to slave with their new album that will be released at the beginning of 2009 and which will be rockier.
For the four boys from Magdeburg there is no time to rest. On their U.S. tour they just make the kids in America scream. And after the MTV Awards ceremony in Los Angeles in September, where they are nominated next to Britney Spears for the best video and nominated as best newcomer, it will be home and into the studio.
There is already enough material for the third TH-album. “Bill has been coming with new song ideas for months,” says their manager David Jost. “He uses every spare minute to write songs.”
Tokio Hotel plans to make the record even harder than the previous albums.
“We will be recording the album in both the German and English versions,” says Jost. The German version will be publiced from January to March 2009 and the English one a little later in the United States.
Jost: “There are also some German sung songs on it.”
Christmas should all be ready. Only then may Tokio Hotel have a vacation. Jost: “They will probably fly back to some postcard island.” The last vacation the band spent in the Maldives.

OMFG!!!! I kannt w8 till der new album kumms out i’ve bin freaking out all over da place I’m very extremely excited!! I heard a rumore that their record company place thing in germany said it was comming out in december now and that the german one is going to be realeased in germany about 1 week before the other counties but than again it just a rumor….but I have high hopes for it!

*sqeals* I can’t WAIT!!!! I reallyreallyreallyreally want to hear more German songs from them, since iTunes won’t let me buy their German CDs >.<
BUT, before I get the album I need to know they’re taking a break. They worked so hard and they deserve time off! I’ll be waiting impatiently. :)

Well I know this sounds really bad, even though I love the boys to absolute death, but they probablly won’t release the german cd in america, so u can always download the german songs for free from limewire.
*lowers head in shame*
I know..I know..it sounds so evil and awful for not buying the cd the right way, but if u can’t aford to buy it with the import costs, u can do it that way….just an idea
Please don’t attack me, I’ve loved these boys sense they first came out in germany.

first don’t the twins keep there vacation spot very hush hush like on trl when the guy asked something about a vacation bill said “an island” and in the article it said there german version and american but they didn’t say canadian!!!! what if they don’ make a canadian version i mean the canadian and american versions are diffrent

I’m really hoping they release the German version in the US too. I loooove their German songs! :-D (And I don’t want to pay all that shipping to order it from the EU like I did their other German albums! O_0) I’m glad they’ll be putting some German songs on the English album, too. That’s so cool! *thumbs up*

@ #1 (chiby), The twins have often talked about vacationing at the Maldives so I wouldn’t worry about the info being published in a newspaper or here on the fanclub. Besides, the Maldives are a group of 200 islands and thousands of beaches so it doesn’t really reveal much.

@15: I don’t think he actually meant that he bought an island – he probably meant that they reserved an island all to themselves, which is really expensive anyway; (photos were leaked though, which stinks when you’ ve payed a truckload of money to have private use of an island and avoid the press)

If anyone was watching TRL at one point the guy asking them questions asked each one of them what they have spent the most money on and Bill said “an Island”. I would imagine that is where there vacation will be spent.

i mean, besides that, you can always get the albums on Amazon or Ebay or something like that! But i do think we should have a vote. Maybe we can or should AT LEAST get them to put the German stuff on iTunes. I LOVE the German versions! All of them! and common, who doesn’t? The German versions sound more, i don’t know, natural; more like Tokio Hotel because THAT’S their ACTUAL language.

haha @ 9 the scream album does come with live every second do you have aim i can send it to you if you want (im the same with my cd i dont let other ppl touchit. it’s to good for tokio hotel hater to touch it)

OMG! I seriously hope it comes out here TOO!
Oh god. It took me,like, 2 weeks to find out that they had the German Schrei and Zimmer 483 at a HMV near me. I want the frikken U.S Scream album. It has LIVE EVERY SCOND ON IT DOESN’T IT? Ahah-funny-cause the Scream album I have doesn’t have Live every second on it. Unless the U.S Scream DOESN’T have Live Every Second on it or I must be getting mixxed up…
But I seriously hope that both the German and English come out near I am!
Once I got my Zimmer 483 and Schrei cd-they have been my prised possesion,no-one BUT me(in my family) listens to the cds WhatsoEVER,and I make sure that NOTHING-and I mean NOTHING-happends to them! ONLY I touch the cds and Listen to them…hey don’t blambe me for pretecting them, don’t want ANYTHING happening to them!
Wow,I seriously can’t WAIT for the album(s)! I KNOW Bill’s doing a GREAT job on writing the songs! I am SO excited. I can’t WAIT :D

i really hope the german version is ganna be relaeased here 2. but i hope that soon after that they’ll start planning tour dates 2 cum 2 the us. i want 2 go 2 another 1 because i feel lik i missed so many parts wen i was getting pushed around & falling.

Even if they don’t change the country it doesn’t matter. I mean, the Maldives is an island group with over 1000 islands. So they article is not really giving off where they are headed….
