@ Emma (#55). Please, calm down. I can’t tell you how many awards thr american or asian or any international fans have voted for without getting acknowledge for it and yet you don’t see them whining and complaining.
When the fans from all over the world voted for the german Echo award Bill thanked the german fans only and not the international fans, and nobody complained. When winning or asking fans to vote for the EMA he talked to the european fans, and you didn’t see any american or asian fans complaining even though they voted for it. When they won the NRJ awards he thanked the french fans, when winning the Swedish Rockbjörnen awards, he thanked the swedish fans. For all awards he has thanked the fans in that specific country despite fans from all over the world voting. That’s just how it works, so don’t take it so personally and demand ego boost by gettinga thank you. It works both ways.
Besides, the band is in USA now touring. So what do you expect Bill to say “See you in a concert in Europe” when they have just finished their European tour for 2008. Do you want him to lie and say he hope to see you at aconcert they aren’t playing?
