in a perfect world, they would have put raise your hands on the cd too bcuz ever since i heard it live at the concert in L.A. ive been in love wit it. BUT i am happy that we get extra songs, ESPECIALLY 1000 Oceans!!!!!!!!!!! are they ever gona release raise your hands? because they shuld!!!!
oh and if it was a REALLY REALLY REALLY perfect world, then they would have re-recorded geh like the way they play it live bcuz it kiks ass as well.

This is my very first comment on this site even tho i’ve been reading EVERYTHING!!! on this site for a month now!!
- its great that TH is becoming successful here, but my personal opinion is this: i hope they don’t become to big cuz i like it when nobody knows who they r n i (n other fans) can have them to myself…hehe. i believe some of u have said something along the lines like this in other comments.
- YES! tokio hotel is finally releasing a cd (wished that they wouldnt have pushed the release date further that way i can get my hands on it quicker!)
- i already have all the songs on my computer for a few months now witout buying one single cd, nor did i get it from youtube. ive been listening to all of those songs for the past few months now (around the time i discovered them) i immediately downloading almost all the songs n recently downloaded 1000 oceans since it was released not too long ago. I currently have 41 songs from tokio hotel n am in the process of downloading 5 more!
-durch den monsun was recorded in 2003 but the single took forever to be released which finally did in 2005. actually i think the whole album was recorded in 2003. i remembering hearing this in one of the interviews. He did however rerecorded the whole schrei album due to the fact of his voice changing a few months later after the album (or was it the durch den monsun single?) got released.
-the gateway version, its the version of the official Monsoon music video (got that one too!)
-out of all the fansites out there (i think ive checked most of them) i like this one the best…its the quickest n is always up-to-date…btw i luv how u guyz have a sense of humor (like the straightjacket thing)

I KNOW WHAT THE “MONSOON (GATEWAY VERSION) MEANS:
Ok you know Tokio Hotel did the whole “Monsoon” song over for the English album?? Well, what they did, is that they take the music (Drums, Bass, Guitar) from when they were younger, and put Bill singing english into the song. So you hear all the “instruments” playing from when they were young, but you hear Bill singing in english from the English album. Does that make sense to anyone??

Oh and BTW : If you want proof or want to hear it yourself, all you have to do is go to http://www.youtube.com and go in the search box and type in “Monsoon (Gateway Version)” and it takes you to the video. Its pretty cool =]

The Gateway version of Monsoon appears to be simply a rerecording. When I listened to “Monsoon” and “Monsoon (Gateway version)” on youtube, there is a clear difference. The gateway version is almost… grungier. Maybe it’s a different mix, because all of the instruments are clearer.

i dunno about ddm being recorded in 03, he sounded pretty much the same when he was 15 but then again i sounded like a 10 year old when i was 15-16 too lol
and no idea what thet version of monsoon is, maybe they re recorded it? i have no clue

YESYESYESYES!! I’ve actually been driving myself insane trying to figure out what songs are going to be on the American version of the Scream album! I knew the basic ones, but I was really concerned that 1000 oceans wouldn’t be on it. But it is!!! :DDDDDD

I just heard 1000 Oceans yesterday and I love it!
I’ve been annoying my friends with my countdown to May 6th, but they don’t understand! Now they’re going to want to kill me because I am soo friggin excited. It does suck that I’m the only person at my school (2000 students for 11th and 12th grade, BTW!)who likes Tokio Hotel…but that doesn’t matter!
And yes, the countdown continues……20 DAYS LEFT UNTIL MAY 6TH!!!!!!

I believe bill said once in an interview that ‘durch den monsoon’ was actually recorded when he was 13, which means the 03 version is the same as on the ‘Schrei’ album, even though that was officially released in 05. Make sense? ; )

anne- if you have a credit card you can order from Amazon in any country, you just have to sign up. I have ordered from Amazon.de and Amazon.uk and I’m in the U.S. I might have to sign up with Amazon.fr depending on the whole Heilig release thingy. *takes some jellybears to feed her massive jellybears addiction*

Durch den Monsun in the Schrei album was sung by Bill in 2003 but released in 2005. So I guess you can call it ‘the 2003 version :)
