Concerts falling in Italy
Because of the vocal chord inflammation of lead singer Bill Kaulitz, the teen band Tokio Hotel also cancel concerts in Italy.Initially, the young musicians would be in in Turin on Sunday and in Rome on Tuesday and Wednesday in Bologna.
“After the Lisbon concert got cancelled last week Bill was directly flown back to Germany,” producer David Jost said to “Bild am Sonntag”. Here has the 18-year-old since then been treated, “and as long as he is not really healthy again, he will stay in bed”.
Whether the March 31 March concert in Dortmund still is scheduled to take place is information that has yet to be decided.

umm i’m not sure where to post about this but i thought this was an interesting idea. a bunch of people on myspace are attempting to get together and launch all out flood of get well messages for bill this week on the internet. we made a poster for it and are trying to spread it around myspace.

i think thats why more shows are being cancelled Kayla, they dont want permenent damage done to his vocals so they re taking it day by day, to let his vocals heal, thats why there is always, ‘the doctors say’ he keeps getting check ups to see whats happening……but lets not scare ourselves ^_^ lol

im glad to here that bill is doing better!! =]
however, not to ruin things but does anyone know if we should worry about permanent damage to his vocal cords since hes had it this long and he was still singing while the infection was “developing”? i sure hope not!

does anyone else love Bill s hat in that picture?? lol ^_^ i think maybe bill should hire a vocal coach,, i mean, not to say he cant sing, but alot of singers would recommend going to one every so often cause it improves their vocal stamina, and are less likely to strain anything when their singing higher notes, or when they have to sing, say, 20 songs every night for a month like our billy ^_^

=( I hate the fact that he keeps getting sick and its because of his vocal cords. The break they had wasn’t enough he needs more rest and we don’t want Tom, Gustav, and Georg to get sick next. The fans love them and will understand if they cancel more concerts. and yeah I hope he gets better and doesn’t get sick the rest of the year if possible.

Can anyone ppplleeeassee tell me what’s happening to the concerts in Belgrade and Ljubljana. I am from Bulgaria and I had to go to the concert in Serbia…and now I don’t know if the concert is cancelled or not. I don’t know what to do ;(

The contents are basically the same as the one from Bild am Sonttag and the translation is as follows:
Because of the vocal cord inflammation of singer Bill Kaulitz, TOKIO HOTEL also had to call off their concerts in Italy. Initially, those were to take place on Thursday in Turin, on Tuesday in Rome and on Wednesday in Bologna.
“After the called off Lisbon concert last week, Bill was flown back direct back to Germany on Sunday”, said producer David Jost to the Bild am Sonttag. There, the 18 year old has been getting some treatment since then. Whether the planned concert in Dortmund on 31st March will take place is not certain according to the source.

I think they’re taking it one day at a time with Bill and determining concerts.
I just hope that once he recovers he doesn’t perform right away though, just to make sure he’s fully healed.
