Now the girl from the FC is telling that all the fans were already waiting inside and then Tom, Georg and Gustav came on stage and said that it´s cancelled because of Bills voice and that Bill is already on the way back to Germany.

Concert of Tokio Hotel cancelled (in updating)
In the press conference three elements of the band and the promoter of the concert confirmed the cancellation because of illness. It was already marked a new date.
The concert today of Tokio Hotel in Atlantic Pavilion is not going to happen. The reason, said Tom Kaulitz, Gustav and Georg Schäfer Listing, members of the band, is the laryngitis that affects the singer Bill Kaulitz.
With flag Atlantic completely filled the three elements of healthy band rose to the stage to confirm the cancellation. The public was warned that Bill Kaulitz was no longer in Lisbon and that was the way of Germany in a bus.
Alvaro Covões, Everything Is New, has already announced that the show will be reset to June 29 that same room

I believe Bill would want to go home and not have to deal with doctors and interpreters, know what I mean? I know I would rather be at home if I was sick and did not speak the language. Plus his momma is there.

Soo… As for my story:
The freaking hall was packed!! I arrived at 8am and apart from some really bad organization I ended up in a good spot with a good view to the stage. At around 3pm we could hear the soundcheck. Then we waited 3 more hours to get in, we got in and we stood there for 2 hours with crap music (not really but I’m angry) and people fainting and all.. Anyway, then three guys from Everything is New came out and said they had good and bad news. The bad news was that Bill is really sick and the good news is that there’ll be another show on June 29th. We all kinda booed and all..
Then Tom, Georg and Gustav came out and Tom said he was really sorry but Bill was sick and he couldn’t go on with the tour (that’s what I got), that he was already on his way to Germany to see some specialists, but that they would be there again on the 29th and that the tickets are still valid.
You could see they were really sad because of this but at the same time they were surprised by how many people were there.. I was too.
Now, what I think: We heard them doing the soundcheck and I think Bill realised he couldn’t do it by that time right? Then why did they make us wait 5 more hours to tell us that? Some people were there since thursday and that came from the islands (that are closer to America than they are to the continent). I understand they wanted to go there and say it personally bu they could’ve done that earlier! I’d prefer that a security guard came out to the queu and said ‘Yeah forget it’ than waiting there 5 hours to hear Tom say live ‘I’m sorry’. I’m just mad they made us wait for so long to know that.
Oh! And yeah they already knew they weren’t going to perform, the stage wasn’t covered with a curtain and I actually thought that was a bit strange.
Apart from that Tom was hot (omg his voice!) Razz

Elizabeth, who says that TOKIO HOTEL fans are only children and pre-teenagers. I am 44 years old myself and also stood for hours at the Forest National in Brussels on 3 March. Their music reaches out to everyone – old and young. And i am sure i am not the only one who can speak for that.

It is very important for all of us, fans, all over the world, to support Bill during this difficult period. Their concert schedule is not normal at all. After their concert in Brussels on 3 March, the boys came back to the hotel very late, did not have time to rest, checked out in the middle of the night and drove to Rotterdam on the same day. I am sure it must have been very exhausting. Although they are young, their bodies can only take as much. Lets all hope and pray that he will get well soon. This is what matters most this time.

Hey Sophie I agree with you about Brii! She pretends to know Bill /has someone’s email who pretends to be Bill to her, thinking that it will make her NZ street team look so much better. She hasn’t even done anything to promote them here in NZ :S Pff pff
Anyway I hope Bill gets better soon! And I know its his choice and it doesn’t bother me, but since he smokes AS WELL as the pressure he is under, laryngitis is much much easier to get O.o I hope hes getting better and people leave him alone!

i don’t agrre with Pipa from the UK forum: i think the band thought that they actually could perform the show ’till the last second (unleass until the made soudcheck) and i think it was very attentive of the band to inform us of what had happened in person, although we had to wait hours for that to happen. i think that this act showed how much respect they have for us fans…

i just saw it on the forum of the website where I bought the tickets for the concert in Lubiana (slovenia, 28 of march). the admin said that he had just talked with the organizator: bill just caught a cold and the concert is gonna happen.
let’s hope it’s true and it’s just a cold :)

I totally disagree with people saying ‘it’s the american’s fault’!!! Well this is absolutely nonsense! I am european, and on the contrary, I think it was a good thing for them to go abroad (I mean, out of Europe) and play in smaller venues, it was a kind of “vacation” for them I think, they could play in front of 600 or 800 people, like they used to do here before… And the problem is that they planned too many concerts for the European Tour, that’s whu Bill is sick now…

Its part of human nature to get sıck. Gıve the poor guy a break, he works non stop. He barely gets a break as well as the other guys. It totally sucks that the concert got cancelled, but we all know that Bıll gets upset when he has to cancel a venue. So stop blamıng the amerıcan fans, they dıd 5 small hour shows! Personally ı feel that they should have gıven them tıme to recooperate before theır european tour. But thats how ıt ıs for a band that famous! And thıs whole brıı emaıl spam fıasco ıs a bunch of BS. I dont know what the deal ıs but ıt needs to stop. Its just for attentıon. The most ımportant thıng ıs that BILL gets better so the tour can get on.

Oh My God, I can’t believe it… “Wir können heute Abend nicht spielen, Bill ist krank…” on his way back to Germany… I started to cry when I heard this… I can’t believe it… I was suppose to them them live on Thursday, but I hope Universal will take care of Bill first, no matter if the concert is postponed, I’m so worried for him…
