Anaheim show? Possibly not happening?

Tagged With:

Someone on our team is in contact with the people at Chain Reaction and apparently, they and Tokio Hotel Management cannot reach an agreement on how to work the gig.

We will keep you posted as to what is happening, if there is a new venue, etc.

    Hi.

I noticed that earlier today, there was information regarding the Tokio Hotel concert on you’re website, but now that I look at it again it’s gone, and I was wondering why that was.
Alot of fans are freaking out over it, and wondering if there is even going to be a show or not. I understand that you can’t give us some information, but it would be great if you could give us a general overview as to why the tickets aren’t out yet, or it’s not officially listed on the venue website.
    Thank you!

Do you know if the show is being moved to another venue or any reason it’s not happening? If you can’t tell me I totally understand.

    Thanks again!

I don’t think it will be moved, it is to close to the date and everyone has the date booked. The reason it is not going to happen is because they want me to use barricades and I won’t use them….

Is there a safety reason as to why you won’t use barricades or do you just not want to use them?

The reason I ask this is because there are many fans that have already planned to go to this concert, and are giving up a lot for it. Many of the fans are flying in from all over the country, and missing a day or more of school for it.

For example my own friend, Elizabeth, who lives in Illinois, is selling her Les Pauls Guitar and amp just to go to this one concert. There are many people that are sacrificing a lot to go to see this band. I myself am selling a bunch of my CDs and clothes, and if I need to I am ready to sell my bass. A lot of people can’t make the other date because it is a Friday and it is a school day. Also, the Roxy show is almost sold out, and everyone that has been planning to come to Chain Reaction will not be able to buy tickets for the Roxy.

Plus, think about all the business it will bring for your venue! I think you mentioned in one of your e-mails (to my friend Felicia) that you have never received a response like this. It would be a big benefit to you, and to Chain Reaction, making it very well known in other states. I live in Northern California, and I had never heard of Chain Reaction before this, and I was so excited to go to this.

If you have a problem of getting people to put up the barricades, I can get a couple of fans including myself to put them up, and we’d probably do it for free! :)

    Thank you,

    Radhika

YOU GUYS, YOU, YOUR MOM, YOUR BOYFRIENDS, GIRLFRIENDS, BEST FRIENDS, PET DOGS, AND YOUR NEIGHBORS HAVE TO SEND EMAIL! WE HAVE TO GET THIS CONCERT GOING! I KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE RIDING FOREVER TO GO TO THIS CONCERT AND IT MEANS SO MUCH (TOO MUCH!!) FOR THE FANS OF AMERICA! I WOULD BE CRUSHED IF NYC WAS CANCELED, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE!! D: GET TO SENDING! NOW!

just wanted to point out, yesterday they had announced that tickets for the Anaheim show would be on sale soon on the Chain Reaction website, and now there is nothing posted for Feb 16. could mean they’ve decided against it.

I think that Chain Reaction is completely out of the picture. They did not want to attend to the security requests, or the request for a drum riser to put Gustav on… and I heard that the place was a DIVE in a really bad neighborhood too. So, I bet they are working on it and will have some news one way or the other this weekend.

    aggghh. no!
    they cant freakin do this!

they will piss of so many people.

and is it true that they are going to sell 400 tickets to chain reaction when the place can only hold 250?
if that is true thats going to be hell.

    :)

lol thats actually kinda funny in a way, just a stupid reason. But of course TH wants protection. We’ve all seen the vids of how crazy some of their fans can get.

But yeah i hope it works out.

I heard that the place doesn’t want to give as much protection or something that Tokio Hotel is requesting. Anyways, I hope they work it out, since I know a lot of people wanted to go to it.

It only makes sense that they move to another venue. I mean they made an official announcement and everything, they cannot just disappoint their fans like that. But then again there is always a chance for everything. I think that I am just going to go for the Hollywood tickets, if I cannot get my hands on those then I am going to cross my fingers and hope that they do find a new location for Anaheim and FAST.

Anahiem is not that far away from Hollywood, only about 30 minutes or so. For those of us who have lived in SoCal it’s not that big of a deal to drive. So don’t worry if you’ve already made reservations near Anahiem. I wonder if the boys are going to go to Disneyland??

this just totally sucks!! so many people have made reservations and planed out trips like crazy! me being one of them. its crazy house one day can make such a difference ;o; if they dont find another venue on the 16th i might not be able to go and that will kill me T_T
