i-D Magazine has a website and it looks like you can buy the issue online. Not positive, have not tried it yet.
Lyndsey asked about the Puppenjungs. The Puppenjungs are Bill and Tom dolls made by a fan (and a friend) named Zillah. You can see the Puppenjungs at their livejournal. The latest photoshoot is Bill in a tank top.
How did they get famous in America?
I only know for myself that I saw them first on the ONTD livejournal community. I was hooked immediately. I don’t know how others found them.
The secret project should be unveiled this weekend. Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone.

I first found out about Tokio Hotel through a L’arc~en~ciel fanvideo as horrible as it sounds… there was a random pic of Bill and Tom at the end of the vid that said something like I <3 Bill and Tom Kaulitz… I have no life… so I read the wikipedia on them and watched ubers ende der welt on Youtube.com. ^_^

when i first saw tokio hotel was because my friend went to russia and her russian friend said she don’t like them anymore and gave her the cd and posters then she came back here to america and the first thing i saw was durch den monsoon videa we thought hi was fourteen but then i searched him more and found out his was 17 (now his 18) so now i a big fan and now i understand german when he sings it now i am addicted so this is the short story of how i know about them (trust me there more to it but you guys don’t care)

ha. I found Tokio hotel on youtube. at first i thought bill was the lead singer from NIN. I was like ‘what the fucking hell?’ then i researched more and got addicted.
