If you know who these vampiric androgynes (and Gustav) are, anything I have to say about them now will be accompanied by the sound of much tutting and stroppy voices going “GOD! EVERYONE knows that!”. For everyone else, this is Tokio Hotel. They are German, they are ROCK, and they are doing very nicely indeed thank you very much. Their massively successful album ‘Scream’ has seen them conquer Europe in a manner which I absolutely refuse to compare in any way to any World Wars of the past 100 years or so. And they’re just a bunch of nippers!

And now they’ve set their sights on Blighty. They’re releasing their first UK single ‘Ready Set Go’ over here on August 20th, and even though their English isn’t brilliant, we still decided that the best introduction ChartBlog readers could have to their work would be in the form of our patented Email Questionnaire.
Which, now I come to think about it, is a bit cruel, really. Oh well…

Have you ever been in Finland before?
What kind of image do you have about the country and the Finnish girls?
Tom: unfortunately we have never been to Finland before, but we are really looking forwards to get in there.
Bill: It’s always nice to get in some new country the first time, and get to know some Finnish girls and fans and also play live to them.

How do you deal with all the gossip about you?
Tom: It depends about the situation. We’ve had to get used to them, so it’s everyday thing to us. Maybe even 85% about all the things what are in the magazines are not truth. But generally speaking usually they are nothing bad about us so it’s ok. Furthermore I like to gossip other peoples too. (laughs)

Tokio hotel back to Italy: IN ROME ON THE 6TH OF SEPTEMBER It’s official!!! Tokio hotel will beback to italy at the beginning of september.They’ll be again at TRL on the 6th of september in ROME.

And for their return to Italy the guitar Tom destroyed during the “MONSOON” video will be put to auction from the 4th of september with the proceeds from the auction going to a charity that is working to bring clean water to Africa.

The assistant of the Ambassador of Israel told us that fans can be calm: “…you can count on a Tokio Hotel concert in our country!”.

Gerücht: Tokio Hotel Hoodie designed von Bill?

(as soon as I get a really clean translation I will post it. Bill had worn a hoodie with his name on and people were asking where it came from. Bill designed and made it and now they are saying that maybe there will be Bill Kaulitz designed merchandise. Maybe.)

In den Foren tauchten immer öfter Bilder auf, auf denen Bill einen Tokiohotel Hoodie trägt, den es nicht offiziell in den Shops gibt. Viele haben sich gewundert was es mit dem Kapuzenpulli auf sich hat. Wir haben jetzt für euch Bill direkt gefragt! Bill hatte ihn ursprünglich nur für sich selbst designed. Jetzt konnten wir in Erfahrung bringen, dass er evtl doch bald erhältlich sein soll! :-D
