Finally! “Zimmer 483” is coming! Exclusive in Bravo the boys tells about the songs on there album and what they mean!

On this moment many fans have waited with all their heart: this Friday “Zimmer 483” the new album from Tokio Hotel will be released. Bravo met the in Tonstudio and talked with them about the new sensational songs of the year!

Totgeliebt:
Bill: The song talks about what it is like when you distance yourself from someone that you once loved. And you can’t avoid it. I once had that when I had a girl and I just had to watch or relationship die.

Spring nicht:
Bill: It is really a sad song. It’s about giving up somebody.
Tom: Some people sometimes have the feeling the there is nothing more to live for.
Bill: As outsider your then just powerless. What we wanna say with this song is: There is no reason to give up! There will be a moment that it will go better! I luckily have never felt like this. But we have received many letters from fans this last year, that had so much doubt in it. They write us that our music keeps them going. That really moved us.

Heilig:
Bill: I have written this song for the people in our lives that matter to us. I have thought long and hard how to describe this feeling. It’s always about love. Then we came up with the word “heilig”. It just explains it perfectly, whatever happens, these people will always be a huge part of our lives.
Georg: Our family are those people
Gustav: Our best friends. Bill, Tom and Georg are also very important to me.

Wo sind eure Hände?
Bill: The idea to this song came from our concerts. Our last tour was wonderful. We wanted to make a thank you song for the fans. For the next tour we wanted a song that we really could share with. This is the that one song.

Stich ins Glück
Tom: “Stich ins Glück” tells the story a girl that’s on drugs. The people that take drugs become younger every year. In every diso, and on every party people take drugs. Really dreadful!
Bill: In the music business there are also many people that take drugs, of course we also notice that. But we watch that nobody around us is taking drugs. We are drugs free. For us drugs aren’t an alternative.

Ich brech aus:
Bill: That’s really a stubborn person song. I am very stubborn. I have to do everything and I will go through with it. I can’t handle people telling me what to do anyway. We are used to people daily telling us, “Just listen, I have been doing this for 20 years, you have to do it like this!” I have resented that from day one. I don’t wanna be labelt as odd. I just wanna know what I am doing, and standing for what I do. I can’t sing a song that I don’t like. Or do my hair in a way that doesn’t appeal to me. Our producers know this and have excepted it.

Reden:
Tom: That my history about sex with a fan, what you have read about in last Bravo. I didn’t wanted to tell the boys about it the next morning but they pulled it out of me. Nevertheless, this song is very emotional for me, while I explain in it what happened (laughs).

Nach dir kommt nichts
Bill: When I have a girlfriend I just focus on her. Then you really get to know me. When it is over I just can’t imagine falling in love with anyone again. Because I just gave it all. Then I’ll just hate myself for that, for the fact that I have let myself down and locked myself away from everyone.
Tom: It may sound funny, but I had the exact same thing with my dog, I just can’t imagine ever having a different dog.

Wir sterben niemals aus:
Bill: Tom has got many memories about this theme.
Tom: That is the only theme were I can get emotional (grins)
Bill: We believe that when someone leaves this world, a part of him/her stays here. We just can’t imagine that someone is just gone forever. Regardless, what the time will bring – nobody can take our music away.

Vergessene kinder:
Bill: Also this song is inspired by our fans. We get many letters from people that go through rough times. That only have themselves left at a young age and they have a rough life. They live sheltered lives and nobody cares about them. We have written this song so people will start to notice them. It is dedicated to the children that nobody thinks about.

An diener seite (Ich bin da)
Bill: This song is for everybody who has been there for us the last half year – our family, our friends. We wanna give them back something. There isn’t anything more special then knowing that somebody is there for you, somebody to fall back on. I haven’t called my best friend in a long time but I know that he is there for me. Even till the end of the world he would follow me. We wanna tell this people that we are also there for them. Regardless, whatever duties I have – when a friend would call me and say “I need you”, then I would leave everything behind to help him.
