“Tokio Hotel” are shocking their fans! The rockband has recorded a new musicvideo, in that Bill (17) jumps into death. All about the suicide-song – page 5……

These nightmarish scenes will all fans of the superband “Tokio Hotel” shock!
Singer Bill (17) commits suicide in the video of the new song “Spring nicht”. He drops from the roof of a parkhouse 15 meter into the depth.

During the shooting it was thought about, whether one should show the death-scene in the video or not.
They decided for the deathscene to rouse emotions of their fans.
The shock-video shall rotate on all music-channels from Monday.

BILD asked Tokio Hotel:
What were your thoughts about this video?

“We wanted to touch on the topic suicide absolutely, because we have the opinion, that nobody should give up himself”, Bill says. “ You can give up a job or or don`t feel like standing up in the morning and then you don`t go to school or so. But you should have always a perspective for yourself!”

Why do we see Bill springing though the songs`s name is “Don`t jump”?

Tom:
“The scene, where the sad Bill drops from the roof plays just in his inner eye. These are pictorial developed thoughts, you have in such a situation in your head.
But at the end of the video Bill stands again on the roof, so Happy End.”

Can this video lead labile young persons to suicide?

Psychologist Christine Baumanns (55) to BILD:
“I don`t think so. The text of the song goes very deep and works like a theraphy. Through the permanent repetition of the line “Don`t jump”, the young persons emotions are roused, it sounds nearly like an order.”

And the contradiction, that Bill jumps?

Christine Baumann:
“This scene acts as a deterrent and warning. It shows the young persons, how cruel and finally such a step is. That stick much more in your mind, as if you wouldn`t see the jump and the fall.”
